Great location and exceptionally friendly staff . It's not the newest hotel in London but it has plenty of old world charm. Go for a run in Regents Park - right next door!
Spanish hotel well located near Regent's park. Cosy rooms . Free WiFi in the whole building. Friendly and helpful staff . Broad choice of dishes at breakfast . Cosy bar .
Nice hotel ! Make sure to get "the Level" rooms. Melia is near to Regent's park and Great Portland station . One con: the walls of the rooms has no accoustic isolation so it is easy to hear noises.
Nice staff , the rooms are pretty good. The location is the main selling point. The buffet dinner is very good a good mix of Spanish and international dishes. I always stay here on business.
Excellent hotel in London , very close to many places to be visit and the great portland station is in front of the hotel , Regent Place is just 2min walk from And the hotel staff were friendly .
Ask for the upgrade to "Level". This gives you access to a VIP room, includes breakfast , free tapas and drinks as well as free WIFI and a very good sevice.
5 min walk from Regent's Park, perfect for an early morning or ev jog. Quiet place near Saint Pancras and Paddington, train and tube hubs. Never had a problem staying here.
Great bufet for salads . Paella Friday's with complimentary dessert are eally worth it. Amazing cheesecake .
Nice well restored hotel ! You have to pay 15£ per day just to use the bar-fridge ???? No complimentary water in the room
Arrived early in the morning and room not ready, was sold the lounge access with breakfast only to find out that the breakfast is for next morning. Complaint about the mis-selling and free breakfast .
Book directly at melia.com and get a £15 voucher to spend in the bar or restaurant . Handy for a drink before you head out.
This is the training hotel for the Melia chain... meaning nothing is quite as efficient as it should be and check in/check out is painfully slow even at off-peak times.
Perfectly fine hotel . Try to check-in early afternoon as the process is a big longer than is normal and the queues get quite long after 5.
Nice location, nice rooms but the only negative point is the breakfast that is crowded and food is very simple. Even at the new Level V executive lounge - that was also very crowded .
A bit old-fashioned hotel in a nice area. Crazy elevators , noisy rooms, not the best place where to stay for more than 1 night!
You have to enter your floor number to the machine in order to use the lift :)
Very big and comfortable beds , excellent location, great staff and lovely bar !
Nice stylish Martini bar
Free WiFi in my room is working great for me (probably the best out of 5 hotels in the past 2 weeks).
Mixed feelings. Very nice staff and amazing lunch buffet . But the rooms..
Great location near Regent's Park and an incredible breakfast buffet including omlette bar and churros !
Really nice hotel , close distance to undergrounds, highly recommended
Nice service, nice spot. Good value for price
Nice hotel just near Regent's Park, good bedroom and service, excellent breakfast !
excellent position, very old style rooms, good service and staff
Free wifi in rooms with free breakfast if you upgrade to level service. Overall not bad. The elevators make absolutely no sense though.
Rooms have 3-prong American electrical sockets, but only 2-prong Euro sockets.
Longford's Bar plays some seriously dodgy music - it's more suited to Sinatra.
Very dated with random furniture that seems to be gathered from different places including lamps with Euro plugs ... Being renovated, got a room with workmen outside looking in. Horrible!
Well placed for the west end and regents park . Very Spanish
Clean , convenient & quit
Great hotel , lovely breakfast .
Fantastic first impressions, you have to come !
Leave an hour to check in and bring a Spanish translator as nobody speaks English. Shocking service all round, 5 star my ass.
Paper thin walls - take ear plugs unless you want to be listening to your neighbours all night...
Broken air conditioning for nearly a week during a massive July heat wave is completely inexcusable; impossible to sleep in tiny, sauna-like rooms. Location is nice but service & maintenance very bad.
Don't hit your head when stepping out of shower :-)
Rooms are tiny (unless you upgrade). Think cruise ship. Wifi service shut down for almost a full day. Reception kept saying it was a known problem and should be up momentarily :(
Given a family room on 1F, room looking tired, old fashioned and past sell by date!
Really small room a bit hot
Great location
Terrible airconditioning noise in rooms , and if you ask the reception they will just send someone to tell you this happens in the floors 5 and above as if it is normal.
good pillows and beds, stupid elevator , spanish staff . Manuel!
Only one cider , Guiness and Tetly's taps are DRY! Crowded hotel . Long arse drive from LHR.
Nice hotel , central location, class ! Ask for spanish food
Best location ... Great staff ...
Pleasant hotel close to Regent's Park. They treat me well when I'm there. Read more

Was a British hotel , now a European hotel . Sigh.
Free wifi in the bar with every food order.
Good vibes and do not forget to get Double Apple with a cup of latte ???? ???? - Mohammed
Very good spot, nice breakfast, nice rooms, very nice concierge and service - Victor del Rey
This was a fantastic hotel to stay at for a few nights in London. Food is definitely more pricey though, especially coming from the USA. Very nice people and very welcoming! View from afternoon tea. - Tori DeGiosio
Venison was very good. Make sure to order Beet Salad as a starter. - Brian Campillo
Fantastic service, lots of great restaurants and pubs close by. Beautiful neighborhood - Marla Mullowney
Beautiful Park, great for working out or just going for a walk...also a great place for lunch during the summer - The Regent North London
Surprisingly quiet on Monday lunchtimes. Reasonable value pub food. - Jon Curnow
