BYOB , so bring your favorite alcohol and grab some family-style food and naan to share! All the standard dishes plus some traditional Pakistani ones. Tasty and pretty cheap !

J John

Chicken mali boti (marinated in cream & yogurt ) is the best thing on the menu. Naan & bryiani are excellent here. This is the best Pakwan location of the 3 in SF area (better menu, service, cleaner)

Charlie Stigler

Go for the chicken tikka masala - best I've had in SF. Also it's BYOB and takeout is ready in 5-10 min. What more could you ask for? The saag daal is also good, but the chai is meh. I <3 Pakwan.

SFist

Hearty portions of delicious North Indian cuisine make it easy to order up a killer cumin-laced feast — particularly when paired with some cold beers from the market across the street. Read more

Nihari and Channa! The Naans are amazing! No alcohol but you can bring your own. One of the best Indian pakistaníes!

Jose Palomares

Paneer is delicious, Tikka masala is good and chicken karahi is worth trying, spicy ! But the best may be the naan , when it comes still hot it is fabulous!

Sam Doe

chicken tika masala , keema naan , and a 40 from the liquor store across the street. super delicious pakistani food and the owner (ali) is awesome!

Alecs

Really great Indian restaurant that's really convenient to get to. Their mango lasis are yummy. Their pakora is a delicious guilty pleasure of mine. I like to go there with a group of friends.

Jesse Atkinson

Super good food for really cheap (for San Francisco) prices. Highly recommended. Just order a ton of stuff and share with the table.

Sarah

The sauces are lighter than most places in SF and super good. Def get naan .

Bommy

You'll need garlic naan to counter the spicy lamb bhuna. Great spot for a low-key meal. BYOB .

Whitney R.

They are so nice!! I accidentally called in a pickup order to the wrong location and they took care of it and made me new food in like 5 minutes. Amazing.

Bodhi Sansom

Paneer Tikka Masala . Not on the menu but it's what you want (if you're vegetarian )

Arthur Lee

You gotta pick up your food even though they give you a number on a stick

The Achar Gosht is legit and deep with flavor.

James Yang

Ordered veg curry , mostly potatoes|carrots. Delicious tho. BYOB fr across st. Cash only . Delicious biriyani . Chicken tikka masala slightly on dry side. As is the chicken in the biriyani .

If you are vegetarian , you must have Baingan Bharta, a smoked eggplant dish . Soooo delicious! The kheer (rice pudding ) is yummy, too.

Susanna Page

Pretty good Indian food . My husband and I go to the Ocean Avenue location for the most part. I find the food consistently good. :)

Joshua Haftel

Great fast northern desi food. Some curries are miss, but can't go wrong with tikka masala and tandoori chicken .

Christian Feng

Lamb rice , fish tandoori , chicken masala , garlic naan are all good choices.

The Chicken Tikka Masala is a classic. Try the Karahi Chicken for a spicier tomato based curry .

Husain Barbhaiwala

Would definitely go again however it's not the best of places to have Indian authentic food. Chicken tikka n butter chicken taste the same!

The best Indian cuisine in the town . Try Mango lassi , daal, alloo naan , karahi chicken and achar gosht.

Georgia Andrews

Hella cheap ($30 for plenty for 2), BYOB , super tasty! Great mango lassi .

Order at the register, take a number, wait forever, but the food is exceptionally flavorful and rich. The naan is pillowy delicious. Don't forget the mango lassi !
