It really is great for pastries and cakes and you can sit outside and take dogs as well . The food otherwise is fine, as is the coffee . But the bakery is great.
My favorite bakery in Santa Cruz down the road from the Seymour center and the choices for lunch are sublime - the chocolate eclairs are not for sharing ????
I love this place. It is consistently yummy! Few issues... Price! Extremely expensive for a place you stand in line & order. Small dining area. Fight for a seat!
Coffee , poached eggs on creamy polenta with a friend and my dog on the patio after a walk along the ocean. I HIGHLY recommend!
Very Santa Cruz. Great fresh pastries . Dog friendly outside seating .
Good selection of macaroons and some pastries but definitely try their bread selection .
Espresso is Stumptown and it is the best in the world.
This place is good... I really love the theme they are going for but not the best bakery .... Overall they really need to expand.. I stood in a line out the door forever for okay food
Olallieberry & pumpkin macarons are awsome!! Also organic tea 's are the best!!
Big letdown, not deserving of the big lines . Impersonal staff , limited menu, so-so sandwiches . They stop serving breakfast items after 12... because it's apparently very difficult to poach an egg .
Pressed crab and shrimp sandwich are awesome!!! One of the specials of today!!!
Poached eggs on toast with avocado and smoked salmon . Epic...
German chocolate bomb !
One of the FINEST places I've been too! Go!
Bacon and egg sliders .
Always the freshest and tastiest breads and pastries .
excellent homemade yogurt with fresh fruit
I want to like this place so much, but the staff is as rude as a French stereotype. Constant cafeteria-style line , no substitutions, no sandwiches before a certain time, anorexic menu. Too many rules.
Awesome coleslaw - good ginger flavor to it. A bit pricey but the value is delivered in the food, it is all excellent.
As of September 1st 2013 they serve croissant beignets !! Aka CRONUTS!!!!!
Try the Imperial March
Try the pear tartlet. Delicious!
I love the tuna ! The raspberry coconut scones are also delish!
Awesome coleslaw ! And I don't like coleslaw .
Green smoothie tastes like a banana smoothie .
Try the fish tacos with half salad and half French fries .
Sunshine bowl with olallienerry - ahhh
Poached eggs !
Premade sandos

I had a macaroon and mocha (they were delicious), but there is just so much to choose from here. Highly recommended. - Greg Woodhouse
Blue Bottle coffee and great baked goods as well as artisan breads baked on premises. I had a cappuccino and salted fudge cookie (they were out of coconut macaroons, alas) - Andrew Ward
Quirky interior with a very nice menu spiced with cocoa. Good service. - Mats Weldes
Beautiful stretch of beach with dramatic views and lots of rocks to climb - Nico Pitney
Amazing outdoor seating. Dog friendly. Movies on Monday nights. - Caitlin Stinneford
I still dream about their Coastal Kale salad and Chicken Vindaloo. Hands down, the best supermarket in Santa Cruz. - H. Colbert (@hrsch)
