Recommend! One of my favourite pubs , set menu is great value (3 courses for £15), plenty of great options, big portions , good quality. Good for dates , meeting friends, showing family around.

Comfortable and friendly pub with strong Monty Python connections. Well kept real ales .

Nice pub in Highgate & u get a nice roast, yorkshire pudding & veg . Leffe, Blue Moon & Eidelweiss beers on tap & a little smoking area so all in all, worth a sunday lunch . Downside no TV for Euro2012

Hired for our wedding reception and it was perfect! Paula and her team were magnificent, going above and beyond. The celebration just could not have gone better. Best pub in London.

Nice cozy pub & decent food - I recommend the steak , ale & mushroom pie , it's enormous or the burger with camembert & serrano ham . We had no problems with service, in fact it was really quick!

A lovely gastropub and a nice atmosphere to relax in. Have a drink and melt into one of the sofas or try the great food. The Serrano ham and camembert burger is simply sublime!

Get get there early on a Sunday as by 8pm they've run out of literally everything and don't tell you on the phone when you book !

Dog friendly and straightforward menu. Nice friendly people.

If you like your beers dark, give the Berhard a try. I gave it twelve tries and then woke up in another dimension. (Actually it was more of an alley.)

Best boozer in highgate. Bar none.

An hour wait for food, longer if variation ? Lovely place but you're having a laugh.

Would really be nice if the staff could actually be bothered to offer to sell food or drink!
