Go for the water activities, but not for the beach . Beach is so disappointing if you expect a big area, sand and nice shore. Seaweed filled and concrete beach .
One of the best places to launch a boat to get to most of the good upper keys reefs. Nice place to spend the day without having to go too far south.
Nice beaches , cool kayaking , lots of trails . Relax or be adventurous
Snorkeling , diving, and kayaking here are striking. Seagrass abounds - providing sanctuary for stingrays , young sharks, manatees, and herons. Bring a mask, snorkel , and fins so you won't have to rent.
There are way better beaches than these here but a lot of other fun activities: snorkeling tours , glass bottom boat tours , kayaking . Nature trails are nice if you stop and observe.

Kayaking trough the mangroves was an incredible experience. Go for multiple hours!
Nice little beach in the end for the kids to play in. Some shade under the coconut trees but the sand is hard as a rock.
Campsites for r.v or pull alongs are extremely small and no privacy between sites. They do have beach , snorkeling , diving and boat rentals . Bring lots of bug spray.
I love this park . Great for snorkeling paddle board or just hanging on the beach . 💞
