Dinner was perfect here. Tried a bit of everything. Lambchop, steak , ahi tuna , and duck breast were cooked to perfection. Only thing I have to complain about is the Fried Maki roll .
The pork chop is lovely, especially if you like a smokey flavor . Compliment your dinner with one of the tropical cocktails – a Mai Tai perhaps– offered on the bar menu and your night is set.
The Big Kahuna (macadamia nut pancakes with pineapple compote) is my fav, but my hubby swears by the Samoan (poached egg over pulled pork hash ) with Kona coffee . Either is a must try!
Get Sticky Wings and Lump Crab Cakes for appetizers . For your entree, get the Grilled Curry-crusted Lamb Chops . It will change your life. The Lapu Lapu and Island Sunset cocktails can be dangerous :)
Teriyaki NY Strip , Volcano roll , sticky wings , and bread with macadamia nut butter are SLAMMIN'! Lapu Lapu is also a great alcoholic beverage , which I tried a couple of sips of (and I DO NOT DRINK!)!
Big Kahuna breakfast (mac nut pancakes , French toast , bacon , sausage , ham , and eggs ) is no longer on the menu, but still available if you ask for it.
Best coffee at Disney. The pulled pork hash is DOPE but they won't let you swap it for breakfast potatoes . They do allow for lots of other swaps and subs . Goat Cheese !!
Always came for breakfast , amazing. Dinner is great here too. Service can be a bit limited depending on crowds tho food is worthwhile.
The bar serves a full menu. If the restaurant is full, which is often, grab a seat in front of the sushi counter. Or, have your meal at the window and watch the monorail go by!
Everything is good here. Great portions. Very filling. Also a good place to bring the family with young children. A little something for everyone.
I loved the macadamia & pineapple pancakes . I tried a few bites of my husband's Tonga Toast - I can see why that's a fan favorite! The sausage links were also excellent.
The Big Kahuna includes smaller portions of many of the best items from the rest of the menu (except Tonga Toast , which is an experience to itself). Great if you like variety.
The BEST pressed pot of coffee in all of Walt Disney World! Pair it with the fabulous Tonga Toast and you cannot go wrong.
Very good coffee for a reasonable price compared to bad park coffee . Service here could use some work. Took 3 requests to get more coffee which was eventually too late for us to enjoy it with our meal
They do an amazing job with Gluten free breakfast ! I was able to do Gluten free Mickey waffles with the pineapple and macadamia nut butter!!! Soooo gooood!!!
We liked the frenvh toast with caramel sauce much better than the tonga toast . Get the strawberry compote on the side and you re in paradise..
Best sushi in the magic kingdom resort area! The lava and volcano are musts :)
If you want a nice but quick table service break from the crowds at Magic Kingdom, take the monorail to the Polynesian Resort and have a meal at the Kona Cafe.
Volcano sushi was almost too pretty to eat! The bread & butter was delicious. Overall a little pricey . 'Ohana is still the best!
All the reviews are right: this is one of the best restaurants in all of WDW. If you get the Kona Salad , be sure to get the dressing on the side. Just a touch on the oily side.
Great place for breakfast . Coffee is to die for.... nothing beats Hawaiian coffee ...
Exciting flavors at moderate prices . The sushi offerings are beautiful and delicious. Casual and comfortable setting .
Yes get the stuffed french toast...BUT THE FRENCH PRESS IS OFF THE HOOK. GET IT NOW
Eat here often for pre-fireworks on the beach/pier dinner and kids always get Mac & Cheese (via Ohana's kitchen) but since they are closed at lunch , no Mac & Cheese .
Disney World's best coffee is here: 100% Kona, by French press while dining, and by the pound to take home. Also? Get a classic Mai Tai after 5:00. Its glass is for sale downstairs in the Bou-Tiki.
Wonderful breakfast options for those who have food allergies. Pictured is the Samoan - made gluten free .
Gfree friendly , they can make pancakes and waffles Gfree! Pressed Kona Coffee is good. The servers smell of pecan butter and cake ! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
So exactly how big was the KIDS Mac & Cheese at Disney's Polynesian Resort ? Big enough that my 7 year old son ate only half of it, and I just had the other half for lunch . No, not a snack , but lunch .
The ginger-crusted rib eye melts in your mouth! I would recommend it even if you don't care for steak ! The mashed potatoes served with it are also amazing.
You get complimentary bread with honey macadamia butter and it is really good. You can ask for seconds as well .
The bread with macadamia butter is awesome and the sushi rolls are AWEsomE!!!
I just had the deserts and the truffle infused martini the Apple Tart was great but the cinnamon ice cream on top made it
It’s usually very easy to get seated here, and their breakfast is to die for. Try the special Tonga Toast and Pineapple Macadamia Nut pancakes ! - Kristen Heptinstall
Great food, great drinks.. Try "Star Magic Drink". ????
The New York Strip is the best steak you'll find.
The Samoan - yummmm!! Kona Cafe's version of eggs Benedict is unbelievable on a bed of pulled pork hash .
Tonga toast is very rich but great, get that and the big kahuna and split it, you both will get a little of everything.
Great staff and great food. Get the Tonga Toast for breakfast and have Sushi at night if you're rushing to get to the theme parks .
This place is the BMW of breakfast in WDW! Fast and the Best! We love it here! Go to http://goo.gl/FQFSOf
The $8.00 French press 100% Kona Coffee is the way to go. Best coffee ever.
Holy Rangaroooonie!!! The Crab Rangoon Sushi was so good I had to eat it with my eyes closed!
Ahi tuna was amazing. Had a great kick to it.
The pork buns are amazing. I'm not a huge fan of pork but these changed my mind.
They bring you the MOST EPIC bread and butter ever. The bread is sweet and the butter is made with honey and macadamia nuts . It's freaking AMAZING!
If you're looking for a great steak and eggs alternative try the Samoan . It's eggs Benedict over Spiced pulled pork ! Delicious!!
Get the Samoan , it is the most amazing flavor combination I have ever experienced. (The green stuff is fresh waster cress)
The Tonga Toast with the strawberry compote was delicious!
Ask for some strawberry compote sauce with your pancakes or French toast .
Tonga Toast , Macadamia-pineapple pancakes , Lillikoi juice , French press coffee , you will be in heaven!!!
Macadamia nut pancakes . Always been my favorite.
My favorite restaurant in disney! Food always amazing! Service is amazing love the polynesian atmosphere - Colleen Barrett
Great stop to grab an alcoholic beverage before or after Magic Kingdom. - Justin Lisenby
Love the Chicken Caesar Salad! Also, you can't beat the view of Wishes from the beach! - Erin Clarke
Great option for theme park food. Get the giant turkey leg!! Comes with cornbread and beans, yum. - Sofia Papastamelos
Order the Hawaiian bread with macadamia nut butter from the Kona Cafe with your sushi. It's incredible!! - MacK Led
Book in advance - arrive early and you can choose your spot. Very clean with plenty to do. - Melanie Wicke
Make your reservation early so you can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner at a very elegant cafe. Great food and the atmosphere is beautiful - Melissa Tapia
My favorite Disney park aside from the original Disneyland. Always a pleasant and gentle visit, seemingly less crowded than other parks - Christopher Buckley
