LOVE this amazing place. Beautiful habitats & incredible animals. Give yourself plenty of time to see everything-including the fun interactive area for kids upstairs, which is a blast for adults too!
The Georgia Aquarium is an amazing place. I just love the dolphin show there. The design of the aquarium is excellent. There are many beautiful fishes. Its a really awesome place to take the pictures.
The dolphin show is excellent. Also, the Beluga Whales and the Whale Sharks are quite impressive. The aquarium is very clean and has excellent design aesthetics. Very interactive for children.
Pro tip: come after 4pm any day of the week & receive 30% off the original price. Favorite recommended spot is the Ocean Voyager!
Everything at Georgia Aquarium is amazing! It has been one of the most wonderful places I've ever been! The big pool , the shows, the backstage tour is gorgeous, staff and everything! Love it!!!
Can't believe how much there is to see and do, it looks so small from the outside. Tickets are expensive , but worth it!! Get there early to pet the starfish and other fishes .
I love the fact they used acrylic instead of glass, so you can look at the incredible habitats very clear without any distortion or dizziness you normally get with glass. Great for date and family.
I've been to the Georgia Aquarium numerous times and I'm in awe of the marine life and attractions every single time. Great atmosphere and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly .
Major tip for the parents: the Seaside Delights stand (next to the Ocean Voyager exhibit ) sells alcohol . Assorted wine , assorted canned beer + Stella Artois on tap . You’ll need it.
For 180 USD you book your "meet and greet" with the beluga whales . In a small group of 4 people they offer an educational program that ends in the water! A must when visiting Atlanta! Worth the money!
By far the best aquarium I've ever been to. There are great exhibits but of course the main attraction is the whale sharks. They are magnificent and well worth the price of admission in my opinion.
If you're in Atlanta you MUST visit this place. It's fun and there's a glass tunnel under the tank which makes you feel like you're inside the tank . It's really cool to take pictures there.
The Georgia Aquarium is my favorite place in Atlanta. It is hard to beat a day walking through the aquarium and sitting in the large room just watching them swim . The Dolphin Tales show is amazing.
The Ocean Voyager by Home Depot is amazing. You'll need a wide angle lens to properly capture the breathtaking overhead views .
Awesome variety of colorful fish ! Loved the coral reef exhibit ! My 3 year old son loved watching the whale sharks and rays. The shows are expensive . Food line was insane. Saw everything in 2 hours.
Excellent aquarium , plan on spending several hours. It's like a theme park with many snack options and long lines . Definitely worth the admission, go see the dolphin show if you can.
Absolutely amazing venture. I was actually blown away. Love how they have the place set up, right down to the products sold are recycled bottles. Very impressed with the GA Aquarium !
Lots of stuff to do. Lots of cool fish in huge tanks , but the best thing to do is see the whale sharks! A short trip from Birmingham and other places! Fun!!
This is a great place to come if you feel like being stuck in huge crowds and waiting in line to see any fish . Huge bummer that such an amazing facility is ruined by overcrowding.
It's pricey , but the best of the handful of aquariums I've visited over the years. Highly recommended. Kids love it. Adults, too.
Great for kids and adults. Yes, the admission is expensive , but it is one if the best aquariums in the entire world. check in using a kiosk, and you can save some wait time purchasing tickets.
5 Great exhibits , take your time don't rush enjoy the surroundings. Pay for parking when you leave at the elevators . Do not miss Ocean Voyager ~ largest viewing window in North America.
Beautiful exhibits of sharks, beluga whales , fishes , sea birds and penguins. See them from all angles and it’s amazing
EPA's Documerica Returns Traveling Exhibit will be on display at the Georgia Aquarium Sept. 21-22. Learn about the exhibit and our State of the Environment Photo Project. Read more
Nicely designed. Fun facts everywhere. Some unique fish , even fresh water . Doesn't seem like largest in the world, but the fish seem happy. :) Oh...and you can swim with them if you're certified!!
Fun experience for everyone. Great wildlife diversity, knowledgeable staff , and easy to get around. Highly recommend a visit, be prepared for chaotic parking .
one of the largest aquariums in the world how could you not go? i had so much fun as i am sure you will too!
All of the exhibits are amazing and worth checking out. Give yourself at least minimum 4 hours to see it all.
It may be the largest aquarium , but it's not the most diverse. A great stop with your City Pass, and the whale sharks are cool :) Set aside a few hours to do it all though
Explore this underwater world with a rich display of marine life from all parts of the planet. Watch the amazing dolphin show . Petting tanks and backstage tours are great for all ages.
$40 admission for a TINY aquarium ! But the Whale Sharks (Atlanta has the only ones in the Western Hemisphere) are amazing and worth it. Go at 3:00pm for the feeding!
One of the BEST attractions Atlanta has to offer... Wide selection of animals, amazing shows, once in a lifetime interactions! Must go to!
Seals show, dolphins show , large aquarium tank with whale sharks, manta rays, giant grouper and more; play areas for children; convenient parking garage
If you are in the area, this is a must see. The viewing room is awesome. Being there is another experience.
Went here yesterday and it was a nice way to spend a day alone, but coming from the Monterey Bay Area in CA, it's difficult to be impressed by an aquarium after being to the best in the world.
Sleepovers are scheduled at the facility for families and youth groups. You'll sleep right next to a gallery window showing the nocturnal activities of aquarium marine animals. Read more
The whale sharks were amazing...very cool to watch them during a feeding! The tank was full of entertaining & beautiful creatures.
nice place to take the kids to see the fish , largest aquarium in the country but lines are long, food prices are absolutely outrageous and facility is incredibly crowded on the weekends.
The membership is totally worth it! The beluga whales love having their picture taken, and they usually respond better to classic style cameras than phone cameras .
The Georgia Aquarium is the second largest aquarium in the world and showcases more than 100,000 species. Don’t forget to save time for the great musical show AT&T Dolphin Tales.
The sea lion show was very entertaining and fun and should not be missed on any visit to the Georgia aquarium
Great exhibits but the seclusion & isolation of exhibits is what works for me. Be prepared for lines & crowds but if you're going for an event it's even more awesome.
With more than 10 million gallons of water, this wildly popular attraction is the world's largest aquarium . The 604,000-square-foot building has more than 80,000 animals, representing 500 species. Read more
A Deepo Pass with Expedited Entry, AT&T Dolphin Tales show and Deepo’s 3D Wondershow are all included with your Atlanta CityPASS to the Georgia Aquarium! http://budurl.com/66hn
Definately go see the new dolphin show , but make sure to get their early and get a good seat. Helpful workers and really nice exhibits . Our kids love it.
Incredible - the giant manta rays are worth the admission alone. If you've arrived, don't go to the ticket booths , buy your tickets online to get discounts .
The cost is a little higher than I'd like, but the aquarium is just stunning. Very kid friendly . Near other great attractions in ATL, too.
Purchase tickets in advance and pick up at will call. This routes you around crazy long lines . And try not to complain about the prices at the food court as all profit goes back into the livestock.
I enjoy the animals but most importantly the company is great
The best place to sit is in the ocean room. the best people watching involved sitting on the ledge and people just slowly slide by you on the moving walkway!
We bought the resident pass and go all the time. So relaxing and my daughter loves it - Cliff Sinon
Amazing tank! Trusting the acrylic is a must, and totally worth it to see all of those whale sharks. - LadyJupiter.com
A fun exhibit, but kind of lacking in interesting fish - J.W. Moeller
It's amazing! Truly a fantastic experience. I highly recommend it. - Kelly Russell
There's a albino alligators and kids can check out the piranhas up close in a safe enter spot of course. - Aisha B
This is definitely where the most interesting fish are :) - J.W. Moeller
It's a great place to come at night during the winter time with the Christmas lights. =) - Virginie Liao
Great spot for after the Dragon Con parade this year. The chili-cheese dog is my favorite. Don't think I have ever bothered to try a hamburger here - Zach Porter
