AWESOME wares and handicrafts from local Charlestonians and Gullah/Geechee folk. Bring cash and walk all the way through to the end. SLOWLY. And smile; if you're nice, the vendors are quite generous.
Nice 5-6 blocks to walk in the heart of Charleston. It has a combination of food and souvenirs. All hand crafted stuff. Local shops all around If you want to drink or eat off the strip.
A neat shopping experience. Went during spring break and was VERY crowded . Parking can be a bit tricky Try the sugar-coated pecans . They are out of this world!
Historic, fun, authentic and a place which captures the soul of Charleston. Great for buying nick knacks or interesting items. Great for the whole family with drinks & food also available.
Believe it or not, there was an area with beautiful table cloths . Forget going to Bed Bath & Beyond. The Brazilian lady had some very nice tablecloth selections that will add decor to your dining room

Never actually a place where slaves were sold instead a gift from the city to newly freed slaves so they would have a place to sell their wares . Today it's a shopping mecca in the middle of downtown.
