Lantau Peak is a mountain
Hong Kong
The 2nd highest peak in Hong Kong! Difficulty level of hiking : Very Hard! It is steep , so your legs will be shaking by the time you climb down
Incredibly tough either way of getting here, but the sense of achievement and unreal panoramas are worth it!
Truly beautiful views all the way up. Steep yes, but very manageable. Just take it one step a time. Caution: I had a horrid sunburn so do apply sunblock!
Great climb .. Trekked in reverse from Ngong Ping to Pak Shing Au via Lantau Peak. The climb up is very steep . Way down is easier.
Once a year Lantau Vertical - a brutal race with almost 1 km vertical gain - happens here. Register early - the event is very popular.
Nice climb . Once in the summit you'll be above the smog haze and you'll see that the sky is blue after all. :)
Hit up the highest mountain on Lantau. A walk from Ngong Ping - make it a full day trip!
A must go place for hiker in Hong Kong
Wonderful views . Really worth going there.
Good workout. Ascend from Pak Kung Au
Watch out for adorable wild dogs. Hiking trail is closed due to falling rocks-climb it anyway.
Great views on a beautiful island ! Try the deserts at the monastery .
I went to Fung Wong Shan ( 鳳凰山 ) in 9/30 2009. See the link for the photo of the peak. You may feel sense of strong accomplishment after climbing this mountain ! Read more
