The lighthouse is open for climbing mid-May through mid-September. Take your time climbing its 207 steps and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view from the top!
Walk right up to the lighthouse ! So much history! Bring your own water or a brita bottle. The water on the island is pretty rough.
The ferry ride, etc., makes this a pretty time consuming stop. This isn't just a 5 minute jaunt to a lighthouse . Plan well .
Saturday is the only day on the weekend you can walk up in the lighthouse
Try climbing the lighthouse in May...not as crowded
You can climb the lighthouse on a few special days.
