Welcome to Hollywood where even our dead have a happening nightlife! Roll out a blanket and get cozy with a few hundred of your closest friends.
Great venue! Get there early to get a good spot. Definitely recommend blankets, chairs (low to ground), a tarp and food! Good times all around
A fab venue for seeing movies au naturel ! Get there when gates open to ensure a good spot on the lawn and don't forget a picnic !
Try to arrive at least an hour before gates open, once you make your way through the gates head to the right side of the screen in the front. It's the least crowded . Photo booth photos are free online
Picnic at the cemetary while you get to watch a (typically cult) classic movie . The crowds are large, but it still feels intimate . Get there early
Amazing outdoor movie screening expirience! Must have: tickets, park inside, food and drinks, company and time for take a good spot!
Best spots are at the back of the lawn, right off the street/walkway—less crowded , quick in/out for bathroom visits, and easy for meeting up with friends.
Definitely pay for reserved parking . No waiting in line and loads of time to get great seats, picnic and visit grave sites before movie . Excellent venue!!
The walkway is for walking, not for stopping and standing around to watch the movie , blocking the screen from the people behind you. You will get yelled at!
Gets crowded earlier and earlier. Get tickets early, get to the line early, get ready for a long, potentially fun wait. Oh, and don't forget your sunblock!
Make it out for one of the best film series in LA. Each year is more fun for classic movies under the stars. FTW!
We have group rides during the summer to the cemetery screenings. They let the motorcycles and scooters in before the cars. Be sure to bring a blanket and some grub.
If you can buy a parking pass, do so. Saves you the wait outside and makes it quicker to get out. Alcohol is allowed and if you being lawn chairs, make sure they're low!
Get there early, 4:45 is best. Bring bug spray to combat squitos. It gets chilly and damp so bring a jacket and plenty of blankets for snuggling! Low chairs. Wine & yummy nosh are a must.
You don't need to line up at 4. Just time it so that you're one of the first cars at the gate when it opens. Extra $5 for parking inside is totally worth it on a very busy night.
The guards will try to cramp your style, but if you can, get to the island and make out under cover of the willows
Love the place great vibe. Will be back next summer.
Get there early, take an uber and take some small chairs/pillows.
Seeing movies in the cemetery is the coolest thing in LA. Hands down.
Pack a picnic and a blanket - it gets chilly at night. Must be all those dead people making it cold or something.
Get there early for cinespa. It was only 5 pm and this was the line already
For sure the most fun thing I've ever done in LA.
Soooo much fun. Picnics and horror movies in a cemetery !
come early for best spots on the lawn...bring alcohol , food, blankets...will get cool
Wonderful saturday night picnic at the most famous cemetery in the world, watching old movies with good friends.
Go an hour before gates open. You can sit on the grass.
Come prepared with plenty cumfy blankets, drinks food and all your goody ass friends :)
This is a quintessential LA experience, not to be missed.
Scavenger hunt: find the gravesite lit up with solar powered lights.
take a motorcycle and you don't have to line up at all :)
Bring blankets & booze
Lots of fun!!!
Favorite summer event for 5 years now :)
The cemetery @ night is pretty sick. not gunna lie though the inflatable screen at exposition park is easier to see
Get intoxicated or on something... Just sayin.
Drinking in a cemetery while watching a flick is a must do!

So much fun; a must do!
I'm the mayor suckas.

It's a central location with a beautiful view on clear day and lots of lights around the holidays! A great place for a date -- dinner, movie and a nice walk afterwards. Cant go wrong. - Rkqp
Fresh popcorn and excellent programming - what's not to love? - Jennifer
This place is HUGE. We didn't have a map and figured we'd wonder and happen on the graves/sites we wanted to see. We wandered for awhile. Plan/map ahead. Enjoyed spending time there. Beautiful. - Tara R.
Beautiful space. Saw an acoustic set by Keaton Henson here, and it was breathtaking. - Auzzie Yazd
