Awesome displays and learned a lot even at my advanced years...The iMax movie on National Parks was spectacular and the sound track was great. If you're in Boston don't miss it!
The membership is absolutely worth it. $80/year and regular admission for adults is $20-ish, which means the membership is already paid after 4 (solo) trips in a year or 2 (duo) trips in a year.
Treat yourself to an amazing show at the planetarium . It is not to be missed and is a lot of fun. Their advanced 'Death Star' projector is able to project more than 9,000 stars onto their screen.
I kinda feel like science museums are really just reflagged kids museums . Regardless, our kids had a blast with the experiments and displays. Worth a visit.
Arrive early or come late and the museum is your playground :) To infinity and beyond!
The math room is awesome! Also- Check your local lib before you go, sometimes they have discounted passes for kids/families. A woman gave my family one and we paid $7/person instead of $22/person!
I loved the interactive area, great way to learn new things. My favorites are the foot arch test which determines the arch of your feet as well as the walking efficiency (calories burned while walkin)
Mercury is missing! The scale model of the first (and smallest) planet in the solar system (part of the Museum 's Community Solar System) was formerly located in the lobby of the museum .
With 700 interactive rotating exhibits , family fun has never seemed so educational . Check out the Music Under the Dome experience in the planetarium with music from Pink Floyd, Aerosmith and more.
Everything is good here but be sure to give yourself plenty of time. The parking charges are a bit high but other then that I loved it.

Spectacular Plato to go. Tickets are a little expensive but worths . Try a search at Craigslist.org I did it and found ticket for less than 50%.
Lots of exhibits . Fun stuff. My granddaughter and the daughter of my son's g/f had lots of fun. Well worth it.
Dead Sea Scroll exhibit is totally worth it! Although, plan on an extra $15 per person w/o audio guide. No need for the aud guide though--so much to read!
Great place for adults and kids. Learned new information and loved the hall of mirrors.
There are great exhibits for kids, and teens will love the laser shows. Visit the site for more information. Search “laser” for info on the laser schedule or special events . Read more
Classic MOS stuff: baby chickens , dinosaur poop, the Omni theater , musical stairs, the jump wall, lightning show, bees and astronaut ice cream . Glad it didn't change in the last 20 years.
Always great for kids and kids at heart. Science nerds will find odd treasures in the Store. I can spread a whole day here easy
There is a reciprocal membership from the Assoc of Science and Tech Centres for Fernbank GA members, and over 200 other science museums very nice! Just remember to bring your membership card.

Must see the electricity show. Also the omni theater is mind blowing.
Most of the displays look outdated. Needs a makeover. The Butterfly Garden should be visited but don't expect much, just a corridor with huuuge and beautiful butterflies :)
