Honestly, if you like coffee , this def is the place to go. Beats "name brand" places hands down. Expect lines though but they usually move fast.
If you're looking for pretentious artisanal third wave coffee and espresso , you've found your temple . It's fast service and relatively cheap , too. Get a cortado to stay.
The first-ever draft latte on tap--yep, just like beer--combines milk and espresso so it’s foamy, smooth and naturally sweet. Best of all, it’s also available in a can. Read more
Delicious cortado . Great quality coffee . Grab a cookie and snag a seat. Mirrors are special. Cool set up with interesting (but limited) seating.
On some mornings the line literally spirals around La Colombe, but it moves fairly quickly and they have the best, cheapest coffee in the neighborhood
I now know why there is always a line . Fantastic coffee , stay-in or take-out. And while not on menu, they have a secret stash of tea for those non-coffee caffeinators (whoever they may be!)
Great Coffee ! You must try their dark chocolate with espresso . Beans are granulated in this dark chocolate .. I believe 10% of it is coffee . Delicious and great pick-me up.
If you're feeling a second lunch , try the double chocolate + walnuts cookie . It's like eating a batch of brownie mix. It'll knock you down for a while, but you'll come back for more.
Great coffee in NYC! Finally! Glad to see they have started selling their coffee to nice restaurants and cafes around the city . My only frustration is the fact that they don't offer Wi-Fi
If you know this place, you're probably a regular. Strong, rich coffee & espresso , double basket pulls, and iced coffees automatically get upgraded to red eyes. Roast can feel a bit "dirty " at times.
The Corsica blend which they brew daily, is the best coffee I have had in a long time. now I'm hooked and go there every few weeks to pickup whole beans to brew at home. The baked goods ( I had the oa
Classic cappuccinos . They cater to first timers, busy workers looking for a quick cup to go, and longtime locals alike. Service is cheery even early in the morning -- try the ham & cheese croissant !
Top-notch espresso and croissants from Ceci-Cela are among the best in the city . Come a little before closing and you might score some bonus pastries if you're sweet to the staff .
Great iced coffees . Way more seating than the SoHo shop several blocks to the south. Chill at the long standing table or on the bench outside on the Lafayette side.
Their coffee ruined all other coffees for me. Seriously they have the best I've ever had. There's a reason why theres always a line . Also their baristas are really cool
iced coffee here is an iced red eye, and it's fantastic. if you come in the morning, respect the serpentine line and have your $3 at the ready, things move very quickly at La Colombe.
The line looks overwhelming from the outside, but it's probably an optical illusion caused by all the teens waiting on the curb for the Supreme shop next door at all hours of every day.
Tasting Table Top 10 Iced Coffee : "Ask for an iced coffee at this Philly import and you'll actually get several shots of espresso plus coffee over ice--a perfectly chilled red eye"
That 15min wait got you more bitter than your espresso shot ? Head half a block east on Prince to McNally's Books - the coffee 's just as good and there's no line !
The Philadelphia coffee company opened a spacious outpost on Lafayette where coffee experts come by for a quick espresso or cappuccino , all made with fair trade beans.
Seriously one of the best coffees in the city . Expect a line but it goes by quickly. No wifi .
If you buy a bag of beans you’ll get a free drink! The coffee beans themselves are excellent and reasonably priced
Line moves quickly. Almond latte & almond croissant were both phenomenal. Presented with a saucer and stirrer even when you get it to go ????????
I was skeptical of their iced coffee being so popular but it comes with 2 espresso shots and is so friggen smooth! I dream of it still.
Protip: Starting in a few weeks, if you want to go old-school, order an "Iced Redeye." Otherwise, when you order an Iced Coffee , you'll get something from the new cold brew machine
These guys know how to make a seriously good cup of coffee . Gotta love their latte , and in the summer, it's superb on ice.
The coffee is good and they also have this great chocolate cookie . It’s also a good place to hangout or work.
Americano here is amazing & with four shots of expresso enough to keep anyone through their day
Best cuppuccino & espresso I've ever tasted by far in USA, Europe, & MiddleEast ????☕️
Im a coffeholic and was so excited to try La Colombe when I visit NY. It's not bad but I have had better. I ordered a cappuccino . The texture was prefect but with more milk than I like.
You know everybody is talking about that iced coffee with an espresso shot in it. But next time you are here, try the chocolate cookie with walnuts . Yum!
Our favorite place to stop in for a STRONG and reasonably priced iced coffee when we're out shopping in the area.
The double chocolate cookie is extremely gooey and super delicious. Absolutely must get at least once in your life!
Rated #1 by our staff . If you’re a coffee lover, behold the best. Our tip: If you can’t snag a seat inside, walk over to the piazza on Lafayette and Spring Street – it’s actually nicer.
They just retrained their staff to recognize iced coffee as cold brew so if you want their old style of iced coffee make sure to order an iced red eye!
I loved the draft iced latte , but I DON'T love how there isn't a restroom . Gotta go to REI, I suppose. Seattle saves the day again. What is wrong with this city !?
The draft latte is the only reason you need to come here. Very unique and tasty. Like a milkshake of fluffy goodness.
every iced coffee is a red eye; it's really fucking delicious. I saw tobey maguire here a week ago and had to resist the urge to go "pew pew" with my spidey hands.
Well ... David Bowie used to get his coffee from here. Search for La Colombe in this article http://mobile.nytimes.com/2016/01/17/fashion/david-bowie-invisible-new-yorker.html?referer=
Most probably the Best Flat White in the city ! (And the prettiest cups ever :))
Best espresso in NYC, as evidenced by the morning line that often extends far out the door. No menus, no prices: you just gotta know what you want.
One of the best coffee shops . They have great almond milk ! This location is a bit small.
Great cold brew , but it gets so loud and crowded that it becomes impossible to hear yourself think or hear the person you're with. Opt for the bench outside instead!
My coworker said that their iced lattes taste like crack. I'm not sure exactly what crack tastes like, however it is delicious and there's probably crack IN it...in a good way, lol.
Nestled on Lafayette and Prince, we're absolutely obsessed with the modern design , high ceilings , and robust beans at La Columbe. Order an iced coffee - each cup is topped with a shot of espresso .
Don't be fooled by the line out the door; it moves super fast. And the iced coffee is worth it. It'll make you a new person.
The coffee 's to die for and the pastries are awesome! Today I'm having the olive oil cake ...
Try the "black and tan " which is latte on tap with cold brew
Excellent coffee but the line is often ridiculous. Walk over to Bowery Coffee which is one block away, equally delicious but much less hyped and therefore less busy.
The iced coffee here comes with a shot of espresso (POW!) and only costs $2.50 (double POW!). There might not be a better caffeine/buck ratio out there.
Simple set up, perfect for an on the go. A couple chairs outside, not designed for you to try and set up your 'mobile office'. Great coffee, and wholesome baked goods! - Kevin Mercer
Iced latte is always great and their chocolate chip cookies are on point. - Sam Winnick
Always an amazing mix of people and entertainment. One of my fav spots to lay in summer. - Barton Smith
Super prices:) check out the jackets. Very trendy and nice colors - Minas Miroğlu
Well organized with very helpful employees. A breath of fresh air compared to its competitors (Paragon & EMS). Love that they kept a lot of the original architectural details. - Rachel W.
