Van Leeuwen Ice Cream

I love Van Leeuwen’s. Always have. Think their ice cream is genius. Had the royal wedding cake and it was super good. Had the vegan planet earth and it tasted like nail polish remover.

Best ice cream around. Honeycomb is my pick, but you can't go wrong with any order. Try a vegan flavor if it looks good: you might be surprised! Don't have a sweet tooth? Come early an espresso

Much smaller than the one on Wythe, so the line can take longer and feel a bit cramped. Still large portions of great ice cream though. The cookies in cookies in cream are huge & chewy

Love this location as it is close to McCarren park . They have a variety of vegan options so everyone can enjoy a scoop. I personally stick with classic chocolate .
