One of my favorite spots in the city to catch up with a friend. High booths , comfortable seating and it's not too loud . The breakfast and brunch are amazing--something for everyone.
The pulled pork sliders are divine! Best ones I've had in a long time. The cider was good, as were the bleu cheese fries , especially for someone who isn't a big fan of bleu cheese .
Just ate a delightful breakfast here - their granola is phenomenal, tastes like a German pfefferneuse cookie , and the raspberry jam for my English muffin was bright and tasty. Svc was excellent.
Negroni is a kick in the mouth in the best possible way. Late night happy hour - get the lamb meatballs
Oysters on the half shell is the best thing on the menu. Throw in a few whiskey gingers and you've got a perfect meal!
Cozy atmosphere , perfect for a rainy afternoon chat with a friend.
They'd never heard of the Aussie flat white , but made an effort to make one anyway. "Green"s turned out to be just rockets. Bacon here is quite different to AU bacon . Poached eggs were swimming .
Love this place, especially if you just want to hang out either alone to read their stacks of old books in their library , or a magazine with dinner or a drink, or with a friend.
I'm wondering....do they feel they should not offer to get you a new drink or wait on you so you can relax, orrrr???
Quite possibly the best hotel-associated bar I've ever been to. Wonderful service, food and spirits .
For me, the renovation is nice, but preferred old version. Service is the same. Very compatible to other high end hotel bars .
Not the best place if you're a wine drinker like me. But, if you're into scotch , they have an amazing selection!
Quite, hidden place with super helpful staff who'll serve braekfast during lunch and vice versa
The burger is one of the best I've ever had. And in a bit of a burger expert.
Must have breakfast here is delicious and amazing coffee
Good cocktails well made. And if not sure, sweet vermouth on ice will make anyone happy
Cozy spot to eat and read.
Blue fries and bloody Mary's are amaze-balls!!! Have Steven make it!!!! Emily is super fly!!!
The corn beef hash is crazy, crazy good. Every restaurant makes theirs a bit different. This one is stunning.
The oysters are outstanding. If nothing else, stop in and try a dozen.
Great collection of single malts and other whiskeys . Food ranges from good to fantastic. Staff are awesome! Read more
Clam chowder is fantastic. I contemplated ordering a second bowl.
The avocado toast is very good
Always the right proportions! Yum.
The 'Power Lunch ' special is a great deal! Choose from a menu of soups , 1/2 salads , 1/2 sandwiches , or dessert : 2 items for $10 or 3 for $13.
Cute spot for happy hour and snacks !
Great vegetarian options ! Delicious food :-). Cozy .. Great little hidden gem !!
$17 avocado toast offends even my new yorker sensibilities
Best clam chowder . Amazing cocktails .
Roast beef sandwich is delic.
The drinks are kind of overpriced and the venue is small, but I really like the decor and atmosphere.
I have left a coupon for a free drink in a copy of the Umbrella Guide to California Lighthouses at the Bookstore bar . Let me know if you find it!
HH 4-7pm daily, food specials $4-7, drinks $4. Cozy little pub library . Friendly staff .
These whiskey cocktails ...I tell ya
Unbelievable scotch whisky selection . Highly recommended.
Bookstore bar
This place is now called The Bookstore Bar
Had a bad experience here. Checked my statement a few days later they added 10 bucks tip for themselves. I called them to dispute and they never got back to me. Drinks were so so. Never coming back.
The $5 Bookstore Burger is a great happy hour value.
Good concept, frustratingly lackadaisical service.
Service is super slow but fish and chips and bloodymary pretty good
Beet salad . Get it. Enough said.
Nice service , food was just alright
The crab hogie? Beyond amazing :)
Irish coffee
love this place
Crystal is a kick ass bartender .
The Corned Beef Hash is decadent.
They have great books here... Cough drinks
Get a scotch flight of the expressions you can't buy in WA
The mozzarella bread!! Everything is incredibly tasty - Manda Currell
Really liked the B.O.M.B. burger although it could have been spicier. Great service and fun mood. Great place to hang out with a group. - Karthik Raman
Lettuce wraps, poke stack, and spicy green beans are my favorite! Great flavors, interactive and easy to share dishes. The sampler chocolate soufflé comes in a larger size, which is Dangerous - Kaitlin Martineau
Really cool that the city has still kept this mostly small local vendors. Definitely worth a visit, I still visit as a local! - Greg Wilcox
The public tour is great and well worth the $7!! The soccer field actually wasn't too surprising for the Seahawks. - The Schoep
