THE place to go for Russian & Uzbek food . Must try the Tashkent salad , Lagman or Shurpa soup , Uzbek Plov , Manti with meat (steamed), and a variety of Kebab until you can't have anymore.
This is the real deal! Ive had many kebabs from across the ME and subcontinent and this one takes an exceptional spot. Had their lamb kebab and they narrowed down the juiciness and tenderness.
Nargis Cafe delivers an authentic taste of Central Asian cuisine and culture. They're best known for their manti, dumplings often served with sour cream or soy sauce and vinegar. Read more
eggplant salad , hummus , meat samsa, plov, crispy manti and chicken & beef kebab among 4. Soo filling and extremely tasty! All just for 20ea. person with tips too. So cheap , worth it. Yum hidden gem .
avocado salad was awesome, lamb kebab and chicken kebab were both tender and yummy. don’t forget to put their home made sauce on your kebabs????????????????????
The best in the aria. Chicken kebab , fried potato with mushrooms are the must! Also spring salad and Achichuck are my fav!
Steamed pumpkin dumplings are the best. Avo salad , seabass skewers , garlic fries , eggplant dip . Always freezing inside
I had the avocado salad(tomatoes, cucumbers , radish , red onion , scallion , dill , olive oil and vinegar)it was good. Also ordered the Kebobs(lamb rib , chicken wings , chicken , liver)the lamb was my fave
First time eating Uzbek food - I was with a group that were very familiar with the cuisine and they said it was legit. I just thought the food was so yummy and service was spot on
Food was delicious especially uzbek rice . polite staff with fast and nice service. We were very satisfied with everything. I recommend this place to anyone without doubt.
Chuchvara (ring-shaped, Central Asian lamp dumplings often compared to tortellini ). Order them pan-friend, showered with dill and caramelized onion
Everything that we've had here has been excellent. Someday we hope not to fill up so much so that we can try desert : )
This neighborhood nook serves cuisine ranging from the Georgian chebureki to an Uzbek shurpa soup of mutton and onions . Try the manti, steamed dumplings filled with beef .
Uzbek plov and lagman soup are amazing. Oh you don't wanna miss the kebabs of course.
Everything is very tasty! Especially kebabs
My favorite shashlik place in Brooklyn The garlic fries , sea bass and lamb shashlik are fantastic!
Everything was flavorful! The mushroom - potato hash , as well as the liver kebabs stood out!

Great food with a twist. Prices are a pleasant surprise.
Lulya kebabs and pumpkin dumplings were really good.
Everything is good, but strongly recommend the Uzbek plov .
Most tender lamb kebabs , spring salad with feta cheese, and of course plov
Avocado salad was awesome. Prices are great!!
Food is amazing! Especially spring salad with feta cheese. Everything is very inexpensive !
The kebabs and salads are great.
It's all about the meat skewers here.
Savory, fresh food with nice wait staff .
Always crowded , best liver kabobs ever. Just a great casual dining experience with the helpful, friendly staff .
Best kebabs in Brooklyn. Hands down!!
I found most of the food to be oily and greasy, and I am not talking about deep fried stuff. The salads and some appetizers are pretty good.
Be surround try their Hummus and Lagman ! Best in Brooklyn!
Food is delicious, especially lamb kebab .
Chuchvara - Grubstreet's #13 NYC dumpling
So good! Mega recommended.
The kebabs are especially great.
Miss them in Park Slope. Retail rents are down, please move back!

This place is a Brooklyn hidden gem . If you're around, and get a sit, get the liver kebab .

_RAW CHICKEN KEBAB _ Even though I showed the waiter RAW soft pink spots, after speaking to manager they declined to offer me better cooked chicken nor did waive it from my check. Very disappointed!
Food is delicious
Excellent service. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. You will be well taken care of. The best thing is to order variety of dishes and share. They have good entertainment programs on the wkds. - Salome

I had the bacon cheeseboat to start and it was pretty amazing (and filling)! - Hayley Schulkind
Best Carvel around - they make the actual ice cream better - it's a little richer and creamier. Nice folks, too. 2 thumbs up. - Nicholas Tang
