Everyone who works here seems to really knows books . It's refreshing to get actual recommendations. Also, a great place to buy used; they have a decent (and cheap ) second-hand selection!
Great store ... But ambience leaves something to be desired...clerks talking & laughing at top of their lungs, then breaking out vacuum at 1 on a Saturday. Hard to hear oneself think, never mind read!
One of many indie bookstores in town , centrally located and just a few blocks from the home where Longfellow himself grew up.
Great book selection, good local spot
Even if they don't have the book you want in stock, they can get it in a couple of days. Faster than Amazon, and still buying local!
