The lobster roll & truffle fries were light, filling, & tasty. It's a minimalist restaurant with a great staff . Really relaxing.
Their lobster roll is also de BOMB!! We left it aside while we finished our hae mee tng and the bread was still soft!! Friend said orgasm-worthy as it left her speechless ????
The Naked Chendol . That's coconut sorbet as the base, with an intense dollop of Gula Melaka and a crown of Chendol. No beans or atap chee to distract. The core essentials.
Limited seats in the air-conditioned area so it is advisable to make reservations . Must orders are : chilled piquant vermicelli , grilled gamba carabineros, lightly grilled Atlantic scallop .
They serve fresh seafood here. The Indian squid , tiger prawns , lobsters and vermicelli are must-try. Don't forget to order the calamansi cocktail .
Simply loving the chilled vermicelli ! Definitely quality fresh seafood , unpretentious, seafood simply prepared but all taste so good ! A Must try place !!
The hae mee tng comes without salt, they give u a condiment tray to add salt, Chilli , pork lard oil so that u can adjust the stock to yr taste. Interesting concept! But the Alaskan Prawns ????????????????????
Love their ethos when it comes to cooking and sourcing for seafood . Check out their website too. Makes for a good afternoon read.
Came for lunch . Was kiasu and managed to score bar-seats even without reservations . This coconut cocktail is de Bomb! Cannot remember the name but 1st on drinks menu!!
Fresh and delicious neuvo Singaporean. We had the Kang Kong with calamansi juice which had a refreshing light taste. Clams are a must with local spices and butter.
The cocktail of rockmelon-orange sorbet , sake , and gin is refreshing and carries a beautiful perfume of the rockmelon. Lobster roll is a steal at $29 (lunch only).
House cocktails : Tried 3 of their 'pacotized' drinks (converted food/fruits into smooth mousse/sorbet). In delish order: coconut , Kyosho, orange-pink guava . We cd taste d milky coconut flesh. Yumz!
The Gula Melaka Sorbet with Sea Salt is simple and straightforward. The sorbet is excellent and the sea salt leaves a nice highlight on the tongue .
We were here for dinner and had gotten a set menu . The vermicelli was good. And their naked chendol was memorable. a bit pricey , but worth the occasional indulgence
Seafood set for 4 could generously feed a table of 6, each of us feeling full (of course accompanied by cocktails and a bottle white wine ). Burp!
Lovely dinner of fresh seafood simply executed. Cosy garden shed, pleasant and attentive staff . Supper menu looked wonderful, unfortunately we didn't have space for it
Superb chilled tangy beehoon pairs wonderfully with the umami of Sakura ebi. Overpriced, imo, but worth trying.
This is the new place where there's no outdoor dining . Lots more seats indoor and air con too!
Absolutely fresh and quality seafood served with a quiet and restorative ambience. Love love love their picquant vermicelli that just perks you right up!
Fantastic place for fresh, modern, seafood dining. Order the razor clams .
Back here for the 2nd time. Tried the burger . Had a crispy munching feeling if you into that. If only I had more melted cheese in the burger ????. Overall is ok for me
The set for 2 wasn't worth it IMHO. The dishes were a hit & miss. While the scallop , lobster & barramundi were very good, the clams were not fresh & razor clams were average. Great setting though.
Super yummy food, but located in an awkward location. You need a car to get in, plus a reservation to ensure you get a seat!
Oysters , Indian squids , the set for two for dinner is great
Tan Hsueh Yun recommends... Salted egg yolk crab . To b ordered 3 days in advance. Only 5 available ea day, & @ dinner time only. Source: Straits Times
The grilled baby sotong is our fave!! Simply salted and grilled plus FRESH ... Best ????
The chilled vermicelli looks plain but don't be deceived by its look, it's really very tasty. The lime and savory taste is really very catchy.
Nice creative place with good seafood . Nice place to sit alfresco . Also the galleries around are worth visiting.
Barramundi , chendol, sambal belachan.
Great - really great - affordable seafood .
Seafood was very good (baby squid !) but the discovery of the day was cold noodles - very good (and extremely inexpensive )
Prebookings are welcomed at least 1 week in advance. For the quality they serve. It's worth it.
Different menus at lunch and dinner . For dinner , reservations are probably required.
Just want to update... It's not all alfresco ... The bar area is enclosed, with 5-6 tables in an Aircon environment. Another 5-6 tables "outside " but under cover, so you won't get rained out.
Coconut w daiquiri is v good. And the set meal for 4 is fab. Def worth a 2nd n 3rd visit
Indian baby squid , tiger prawns , clams , lobster , and Pork !
The seating of this restaurant is entirely alfresco , with a 1,000sqm greenhouse-like area garden area. Cocktails are inexpensive . Read more
Good burger and cold bee hoon and nice environment!
Love the Indian baby squid . And Kurobuta pork .
Make reservations . It’s a small place, and people who queued were turned away.
baby squid 's delish
The vermicelli and Indian squids are must-try!
Pre bookings are necessary. Excellent seafood . Fresh n inexpensive .
Brilliantly fresh seafood .. Good value ..
Consistently impressive seafood .
The set is a good deal
Giant wild tiger prawns .
The grilled sotong
Baby squid
Baby squid !
We liked everything (that we ordered). Try the New Zealand Black Mussels, the Beef Tenderloin with Yorkshire pudding, and if you're lucky, the not-on-regular-menu Pork Cheeks. - Siew
There are only 3 things on the menu- I've had 2. The lobster roll is true to New England style and the steamed lobster with butter is heavenly. Cocktails are also fantastic. No reservations though - Minka Monica Li
Starters: Regulars tell us not 2 miss their steak tartare & tomato salad. They were fabulous! Also enjoyed d simplicity of their smoked trout dip. Will try jumbo prawn cocktail next! - Cheen The Curious
Pricey, but good quality well prepared fish. Loved grilled salmon (which is also smoked) with slaw and forbidden grains - just under $25 on lunch menu. - Jenya S
Lovely space nestled in the colonial styled Gillman Barracks, now with external seating available. The waffles are expectedly satisfying and so is the coffee. - sputneek
Good place for art! Quite a number of exhibition halls to explore. Mostly free entrance. A couple of cafes here too. - Elise ❥
