Very foooony hotel ! Getting rooms is like gambling - never know which one you get and what surprises wait you there:)) Leaking cranes, noisy neighbours... But don't get seriuos! It is like old granny
This place was where you wanted to be back in the day. But it seems as though they have chosen not to renovate the hotel since these glory days. Great historical place worth at least checking out.
My Liverpudlian friends just shook their head when I told them I'm staying here. It's a B&B for the price of a hotel , the room has no proper lighting and the internet is an extra you have to pay.
Beautiful hotel . Beautiful rooms. Their breakfasts are delicious
Book your room in advance and save a lot of money. This hotel offers many comfortable rooms and a great location.
lt's a very nice building with many large rooms but the quality of the service -generally- is poor. A few of receptionist are helpful. Breakfast area is quite small for such a big hotel .
comfy bed , big rooms and such a grande hotel defo would come back but I think the place could do with a bit of a refurb looks a bit tired
Great hotel , big an clean rooms . The staff are friendly an helpful.
Huge rooms (and huge hotel ). Very central and close to Lime Station. Book in advance on booking.com: they have more convenient prices.
Awesome hotel ,good price and near to centre.Cool place.
Lovely quaint hotel but you cannot open the windows to get fresh air
Nice old hotel in downtown Liverpool.
Staff are fantastic. But its past its sell by onn terms of rooms, carpets and buffet .
If you've booked s cheap room via an offers website you will get a CHEAP room.
Very out dated with prices that you pay for modern hotels
Love this place. Proper classy grandeur. Vintage, not shabby.
Evening meals are not worth the money. Breakfast are tho... Get there early for good stuff.
Good all round
Center of all amenities good place to stay
Bar very cheap , happy hour until 8pm for hotel guests.
Was once a Grand hotel not anymore and it shows
This place is so old I just saw Jesus, there's no wifi as advertised and the swimming area was filthy with hairy floors ????
We got a room here for £38 on laterooms.com. Good value
Two days and i'll be here.
Pretty amazing place, though wondering if it is haunted!
No free internet
Water was tainted, ventilation in rooms poor, wifi non existent in rooms. Don't expect wonders here.
Just don't.
Seen better days
Its cold here
Unintentionally shabby chic
Great gym
tasteless watery scrambled egg
Ok but expensive for what it is
Don't stay here. The rooms are horrible.
Shit tip. Dirty get it.
Confortável muito inglês!
Don’t use the toilets unless your desperate, if so go to your room. Absolutely honking!!! - I C B
Great service, good size portions of food and good prices. I've had better steak elsewhere but I wouldn't rule this place out. Definitely worth a go. - Alexys Becerra
The buffet dinner is good and reasonably priced. - P Y Wong
Excellent location. Tons of restaurants in walking distance and nice accommodation. - Zach Stockwell
The most amazing hotel. Exceptional service and incredible decor. Cannot wait to go back and stay there again! Worth every penny. - Chelsea
Best option in LPL, opposite Lime Street Station... - Ome Henk

Beautiful atmosphere! So much history and all day live music. You could easily spend hours enjoying the music, beer and good company. - Tim Alonso
Large rambling Wetherspoons that is convenient for Lime St Station and St Johns shopping. Great value food and real ales. - Carl Griffin
