Good place in Silver Lake for sure! I try the Machaca and was really good. The guacamole have a good taste and also the beans. If you want something with little Mexican flavor, this is the place.

It's all pretty good - have tried the burritos , the buckwheat pancakes , steak fajitas & salmon Benedict - all good. And the service is super friendly and quick.

Breakfast was awesome. Have been twice and had pancakes both times. Got the short stack . Toasted coconut was my favorite. The banana walnut was also good.

Get the vegan version of their famous "Devil's Mess" - or if you just want sides, the homemade muffin-shaped biscuit and crusty griddled rosemary potatoes are can't-misses.

Their breakfast burrito is great but what makes it amazing is habanero salsa , ask the waiter for the bright green habanero salsa (it's pretty spicy hit full of flavor)

Since 1926, a silver lake staple. I was in a constant race to finish my bottomless coffee before the guys came to refill it. And I was happy to lose every time.

If you adore smoked salmon , the Neptune's Mess will become your favorite breakfast as it has been mine for well over a decade. Strong coffee , great biscuits , yummy taters round it off.

Don't be intimidated by the line on weekends. The staff are straight up pros and the waits are kept amazingly short .

Lots of variety, tasty food. Service is hit & miss but who cares, the coffee is good. Get there by 9 and you'll rarely wait for a table.
