You can almost always walk right in with no wait. My favorite items are the eggplant salad with shrimp and pork , and the peppercorn duck breast . Everything I've tasted has been good, though.

Kidhack

One of the best yellow curries in the city w/ a half chicken in rich, creamy yellow curry . The half BBQ chicken is great too with corn salad . Note: both dishes have bone-in all natural chicken .

Pursarth Tuladhar

If you are like me and enjoy spicy food , ask for their special hot chili powder on the side. It goes with everything, except the desserts (unless you enjoy spicy desserts ).

Ms Helene

Happy hour drinks & all apps $7, 5.30-6.30. Tofu fresh rolls . Skip coconut sesame crusted sweet potatoes which are fries , both usually $9. Entrees: eggplant tofu $14 & salmon curry $20

Karthik Raman

Had the eggplant basil . Just the right blend of flavor and spice. Good serving size. Good service and no wait on a Monday evening. Good beers on tap too.

Pavan Kulkarni

One of the best papaya see alarm I've had. Get the seabass or pad kee maw both were delicious .

Chuck Coulson

Very good Thai cuisine with a funky atmosphere! Get a side of the chili sauce to kick up the heat!

Good ambiance and great Pad Thai . Definitely one of the better Thai spots in the city !

If you like spice go for the Kua Kling Mu! I live in Asia and used to spice, this was great! Pork with Asparagus and a lot of chilli !

Great Thai food that comes with quantity for a reasonable price. The place is really nice

Shina

Really good food and awesome service. Get the crispy chicken with jasmine rice .

Bill Kennedy

Try the Pad Talay Ruam Mit - Prawns , calamari , and mussels stir-fried with zucchini , onions , basil , and fresh chili .

Extensive menu and they can accommodate pretty much any revisions to any dish which is great

Lunch time only...the beef noodle soup is amazing ... Pho noodles but heartier and the meat is super tender and yummy

Good food & atmosphere, food portion is big can be enough for 2 persons.

Diana Arz

Didn't like food at all. Cheap utensils, food is below average, & overpriced. Was surprised by the high score (reason we went). Decent decor, ok service. Wouldn't recommend it at all.

Andrew Hogue

Great for groups – lots of shareable appetizers and a good wine list .

Hannah Bastian

Eggplant curry with tofu , mushrooms , and grilled veggies is always a standout.

Bill Kennedy

Try the Pla Rad Kang - Charbroiled Atlantic salmon , asparagus , and winter melon in red curry .

The food at Basil Thai is delicious: the cashew nuts chicken is one of their best dish.

Marianne Mattos

Amazing calamari

Hiro

Nice food but very spicy !!

Joshua A.

Speedy (almost pushy) service and tasty food. Salads disappointingly small for the price. Better labeling on the menu would help.

Renan Cakirerk

Spring rolls were really nice.

Chris Ked

Get the lard gai. Amazing flavor. Great price.

Joseph Mills

Red curry is fantastic.

Scott Russell

Top Thai in San Francisco. Recommended by my Thai friend, Noel

Mike Martoccia

If your into spicy , get anything with birds eye chili . It's in the 50,000-100,000 Scoval area and it brings the heat.

Mónica Oliver

Loved the catfish dish!
