Bishop Museum

One of the best places on O’ahu to learn about the cultural & environmental history of Hawai’i. They also host private events for different size groups.

Best Cultural Museum in the state . A must do visit for visitors and locals alike. Worth visiting over and over. Great traveling and family exhibits and experiences.

the staff and volunteer docents are great - Joanne in the planetarium shows and Bill who is a 5yr volunteer who has passion for the history. all worth the cost!!

The Hawaii hall and Pacific Hall are very nice and very informative. Especially if one isn't familiar with the history of the islands . The rest of the museum is a bit dated and caters more to kids

Not happy you have to pay for parking , but overall, the museum is a great preservation of Hawaiian history and culture contained in beautiful buildings.

Take your time here. There is so much to see. Get on a tour with a volunteer - they are good and worth the wait.

This is a very impressive museum . I love this place and learned so much about local and state history.

Easy to access by bus and worth the visit!

This is the real thing. Always go back to visit. Great lay out and super exhibits .

This is one of my favorite spots when I come home. There is so much history and artifacts that it makes me proud to be who I am . . . Hawaiian!

They charge $5 for parking for non-members in addition to the Admission Fee.

Sunday afternoons are good times to go to avoid the crowds

Best seats are middle row middle seats. Not too close to the wall and not to close to the ball.

Catch the #2 bus only. Don't get stuck on the freeway

Bringing my daughter to experience some Hawaiian culture

The volcanoe exhibit is incredible. Take your favorite science buff as a nice weekend treat.

Expect a 40 min bus trip there after 3pm due to peak "hour" traffic
