Helena's Hawaiian Food

If you want outstanding, authentic Hawaiian food , you can't go wrong with Helena's. The kalua pork , laulau , and luau chicken were all amazing. This was the best meal I had on Oahu.

OMG their short ribs are excellent! Dry rubbed and crispy on the outside. Get the fried butter fish collar as well ...you can eat the bones and all. And they have chicken long rice !!

The beef short ribs and pork are fantastic. Beef is fatty but delicious - must dip in the pink sea salt . Best coconut flan on the island . Poke is solid as well . Must eat the beef HOT

Butterfish Collarbone and coconut Jelly were our fav. Lau lau , pork and cabbage , and beef stew are worth trying. We weren’t a big fan of the ribs and avoid Poa it’s punishment lol

Get there ribs . Forgot what's it's called! Kalua pig is juicy and flavorful, Lomi salmon is fresh and super good. Poi is sour, not my taste, and the lau lau is nothing spectacular, but still good!

Cash only ! Kalhua pork , Lomi salmon , Luau chicken , and the short ribs are all very good. Be prepared to make a line if you are coming at peak hours.

$36 for 2 people and stuffed! One of the most incredible meals I've ever had. Get the pig , short rib , and Luau chicken (chicken , coconut milk , and taro leaves)

Pipikaula ribs and fried butterfish collar are my must haves when I go here but I loooove all the food! My favorite Hawaiian restaurant hands down!

Everything is good! The short ribs are tasty & I liked the poke with opihi.

You know what's good here? EVERYTHING! I have dreams about their squid luau and lomi lomi salmon .

This place is very popular, so expect to wait if you come during peak lunch hour. Parking is also limited and you may have to park on the street. But it's definitely worth the stop!
