Take a step back in time. Very close to all the hot spots downtown. It is a very old building , so don't expect all the new amenities , and you will have a great stay.

Even though the address is 601 Vine street, THE MAIN ENTRANCE IS ON 6TH STREET! 601 vine is the old main entrance, but the hotel can't change the address since it's a historic building .

The palace is wonderful to eat and the hotel the is historical wo the rooms are a little smaller bit they have done a great job modernizing

Love our room with a balcony . The live music right below in the atrium is wonderful. Leave the balcony doors open and enjoy!

A beautiful historic hotel right on the square downtown. Great service.

The balcony over the atrium is nice on the weekends to hear the live jazz music in the room. But weeknights it's entirely pointless.

For a romantic night, call ahead and set up a Rose Petal turndown with Chocolate Covered Strawberries (and Champagne ).

Wonderful historic hotel with all of the modern amenities . Try the banana cream torte in the restaurants .

I agree that if you're going to have a balcony , it look upon the outside at something nice. Instead, you have a 90's architecture for the atrium with 90s furniture . Disappointing.

Went for high tea . Delicious pastries .

I'd skip the balconies . They're over an indoor atrium , which is a little silly, if amusing, and the noise from the lobby echos into the rooms at night.

Hotel is nice and so are the people that work here but the bathroom was not cleaned from prior guest and was nasty
