Desert View Watchtower

A great stop at the eastern most viewpoint of the Canyon. Definitely go up in the tower as is painted with replica Native American drawings and paintings . Also have food in addition to other amenities

1st viewpoint entering from East. Cool watchtower that has great views . Make sure to walk all the way to the top as there is artwork and displays throughout.

Stunning views of the Grand Canyon, and less crowded too! Come at dawn or dusk for the best photos. The Watchtower closes at 6:30 PM sharp, so get there beforehand if you want to climb it.

Hopi tower is so beautiful! Take your time and try to digest the supremacy of nature. Wonderful place to go

If you go to watch the sunset in February: bring warm clothes .

Definitely a great overlook. Gas here if absolutely needed. Price per gallon on the high side. Nearby Lipan Point great, especially in morning.

Crowded . Lots of people.

Unfortunately it closes 17 hs. So we couldn’t appreciate it

worth the 5 minute walk past the "shops."
