Excellent interactive educational exhibits which will keep the children entertained for hours.
Pre-kindergarten room is a closed off area, so your little ones are safe from wandering out. Get the membership , it'll quickly be worth it.
Beware of the climbing structure in the lobby. It's a kids only vertical cage maze. No parents allowed inside. We nicknamed it the "2 hour tower" because that's how long it took to talk our son out.
At Friday they have a promotional price for the tickets!

The Children's Museum in Boston displays a giant milk bottle on the museum 's wharf. If it were real it would hold 50,000 gallons of milk and 8,620 gallons of cream.
It’s an awesome place for the whole family, we recommend anytime.
Our 2nd visit in 5 years. A lot of things are out of order. It is for young kids under the age of 8, I would say, maybe even younger.
Check and see if your membership at your hometown museum gives reciprocal entry - we got in free with our Chicago science and industry membership :)
I defy you to find a more frustrating sink in the city of Boston (or indeed the entire Commonwealth) than the one in the Bubble Room here.
$1 admission on Friday nights!
If you're going to come here at least 4 or 5 times in a year, get a membership ! It'll pay for itself.
Find an MIT Playlab researcher in Playspace or the Construction Zone to try out fun toys and games for kids to help with research in exploratory play and learning!

Take advantage of the volunteers at the museum’s exhibits to answer questions about things ranging from the first day of school to child development.
Make sure you are super flexible if you climb up the three floor obstacle with your child!!! It was a great experience!!
Great place for kids!
Such a variety of things to do for all ages!
Fantastic bubble room
Great climbing area abd science playground
members get in an hour early on the weekends. Hands down the best time to be there, before the crowds kick in. Plus much easier to park at that time.
Summer play that happy they are here
The kids love touching everything and being active.
Well , I can only recommend it to patient parents. Kids having fun but not parents! However, they totally deserve this sacrifice.
If you bring your child here, be prepared to stay for a long time. Eat before you come here, the dining option is very poor.
Don't park in LAZ. There are several parking spots discounted by museum , but LAZ isn't even their staff said yes.
Don't miss this awesomeness behind the counter at the "grocery store on the 3rd floor.

The Curious George exhibit closed but the Out on a Limb exhibit in its place is pretty good - check it out.
Watch your head! Especially in the Kyoto house. I've whacked mine good.
The Wizard of Oz display consumed more time than the ball area!
Better to come in the afternoon.

My 18 month old loves the golf ball room and (dodgeball) dance floor .
