Super friendly , largest Safeway in town . During busy times manager will get the lines going.
It's conveniently located near Ocean Beach . Planning a beach day BBQ ? Come to Safeway for charcoal, food and beverage items.
Its the main one. Good place to get a large sandwich . Essential Supermarket .
Got a little facelift at the end of 2015 so it's a little nicer, but will always suffer the coastal business curse (feels dirty and has dirtbag customers).
This Safeway is always nice and clean and the staff are friendly .
There's a recycling center in the parking lot ! Trade in those beer cans & bottles for some cash. Then walk inside and buy MORE alcohol ! :)
Skip the deli sandwiches here and walk a block north to Fredy's Deli for an amazing sandwich !
