I'm from Los Angeles so campisi's is always my first stop off the plane when I come in. Honestly, what makes the pizza so special is the crust. I can't find any other pizza that compares to it.
I've been eating here off and on for the last 50 years. Campisi's introduced the first pizza to the state of Texas (from NY) and got the first liquor license after prohibition. The food is excellent.
