Michelin star class . One of the best sushi in Ginza. Very high quality cuisine with a perfectly matched traditional ambiance. Reservation required well in advance. Sophisticated Japanese cuisine
Raw prawn sushu, still moving when you eat it. Made my hair stand a little but one of the gentler introductions to moving food in your mouth.
Due to their anniversary they had a 2000 yen off their lunch menu when I went. The chef recommended the oribe, which was very, very filling for me. It was a fantastic value and delicious experience❤️
Phenomenal experience with amazing sushi . Try to get seating on the second floor.
Superb quality of fish , talented chefs and lovely ambiance. Everything tasted delicious - best lunch in Tokyo. No booking , 4000¥ set lunch , ranging to 8000¥ for chefs menu. Do not miss when in Tokyo!
Strong omakase , itamae was friendly and funny. Eel , sardine, amberjack, & fresh prawn were favorites, unlimited veggies and good miso ???? ???? ????????
“The fish is insanely fresh, and the attention to detail is remarkable. The omakase is downright perfect.” - Jose Garces, chef/owner of Amada, Distrito, Tinto, and others in Philadelphia Read more
Everything!!! Toro & Uni Sushi were especially glorious. Chef Mori's 41yrs of knife skills & humor made for a very enjoyable experience .
Its one of famous, expensive and traditional sushi-restaurant in Tokyo. Nice atmosphere and great service! Seems many foreign people visit here. You can realize the quality if you eat sea urchin .
We ordered the 30,000yen dinner set. The boss Imada san is very kind and funny. The hot dishes r good but the sushi were truly amazing! Our chef has super good technique!
Everything is truly good. It's one of the best restaurants in Japan, world known. You have 4 chefs , each one is serving up to 4 people maximum. So imagine a 12 people room, cozy but really classy .
Lunch Omakase was very good. They are giving 2,000yen discount to celebrate +60 years. Totally worth the money. Only waited just 10 minutes and they have separate waiting floor.
Eating here is a Japanese experience. Pricey but when will you do this again? We did an Omasake & tried different sushi . I wouldn’t order the sushi they provided outside of here but it was nice to try
The price looks expensive but actually worth paying. The price is quite fair as its classic Edo style Sushi and service, comparing to the same rank of other sushi restaurants .
Not just serving the best sushi , this is one of the best "restaurant " ...ambience, coziness , chefs , staff ...Try "Omakase " course and you will encounter the beauties you've never seen.
fresh uni. live shrimp jump on the chefs table right in front of you. the chefs don't speak much English but are super nice.
Order the most expensive set, as you feel not good when the chef is giving delicious food to the people sitting next to you because you chose a cheaper one...LOL
Very good but very expensive . I had the medium (not the most expensive ) set dinner and 3 beers and it came in at US$230. Great as a rare experience but definitely not everyday dining !
Worth the price. One of the best sushi restaurants in Tokyo. According to WSJ, this restaurant is Nicholas Cage. Steven Spielberg, and Howard Schultz's favorite!
One of the best sushi places in Tokyo if not the world. They are pricy but if u are into sushi , save up and go try this place
Great sushi restaurant , excellent knowledgeable and English speaking staff as well as superior "Itamaes " or sushi chefs . Fresh beyond belief.
Great Omakase experience that won’t break the bank complete with a fun ambiance.
Quite expensive but probably one of the best sushi/sashimi in the world! Especially the uni and yellowtail belly, will leave you craving for seconds for sure!!
The 16 piece sushi set for ¥15000 was awesome. Each piece made freshly in front of you.
Very very good sushi . Private rooms don't play music , so prepare for it to feel a little awkward until others join.
Amazing fresh sushi prepared in front of you. £60/¥10k for a selection of 12.
Simply amazing, from eel that melts in your mouth to tamago that's creamy, highly recommended!
Lunch omakase was fantastic. Raw (still beating!) shrimp , garlic topped sushi , etc. Everything was excellent.
Atmosphere is awesome, met some new friends, chef is super friendly and showed us an article about him on Wall Street journal
The lunch omakase is an incredible bargain for such high quality sushi !
First seating at 11:30am is for reservations only. If you come a little before 12:30pm you can put a name down for the 12:30pm seating.
Edo style sushi omakase . It has another store right across from the main one. Everything was great but a bit salty to me.
Omakase was amazing and it is prepared right in front of you!
The best sushi I've ever had. Expensive but very worth it if you love sushi . Get a booking beforehand.
12 piece omakase was just the right amount. Great value
They keep some seats for walk-in customers at lunchtime. Register your name on the waiting list at 11am.
Otoro , fatty blue fin tuna belly . One of the most sinful sushis to have.
Omakase is great value . But also shud try toro n uni roll (they said they invented uni roll !) ????
Tuna that melts in your mouth
Unforgettable ambiance and excellent service. Must get a bar seat .
Expensive but worth it...you get to experience the best sushi ever
One of the best Sushi place in Tokyo for me. Eat them and u will taste the differences.
Aburi otoro is just amazing
Toro that melt in your mouth....My favourite was the sea urchin .
Tamago, looks so simple but it is simply amazing
Sushi there are super yummy! Taro & uni roll is a must try! ;)
Chutoro opening, semi fatty blue fin tuna belly . What a way to start!
Best sushi expérience we have had in Japan!
Best omakase in japan. Eat the shrimp raw
Lunch set menu is a value.
Extremely fresh Hokkaido's speciality sashimi bowl. Sea urchin was creamy and gushes with sea water flavour; one bite into the toro and it melted in my mouth. Highly recommend here. - Kailey L.
Even the smallest set was way a lot to eat! Very, very-very tasty. - Anastasia Roschina-Kulakova
Try the oo-toro (fatty tuna) and ebi-mayo (slightly broiled shrimp). Great standing sushi bar - Rishi
Great food hall (depachika) in basement. Wagashi (Japanese traditional sweets), western bakeries, chocolates, bento boxes. - Trish F
Starbucks reserve is a nice bit crowded place to chill, quite a fair bit of nice restaurants like Ishida (Kobe beef), tourist centre has a Lawson selling local products - V▲NESS▲
