There's a 9th floor on the newer side of Mitsukoshi Ginza where situates a nice area where kids can refresh, relax, and enjoy themselves :)
The food department downstairs is worth a look. So many lovely and not too pricey desserts , bento boxes and other savoury delicacies. Even 200$ melons .
Food garden on B2F has amazing food from a variety of vendors. The level below sells fresh produce and very good quality seafood , you can also get chirashi bowls here too.
The depachika in the basement is overwhelming with food! However, nowhere to eat it.
There's a new Duty Free floor on the 8th floor for tourists . Make your purchases here and pick them up at the airport . In Narita, the pick up counter is at Gate 70.

People say that as department store is a must... I prefer its restaurants on the bottom floor. Two of them driven by Hide Yamamoto.
Shopper's paradise... don't come in trying to pass the time because you will lose track of time. Stop by upstairs for some Laduree macarons !

this is a very nice department store and very busy and very expensive . Though not all stores I felt like I wasn't taken seriously because of my appearance which hasn't happened to me in Japan before

The main entrance on 1F is the main meeting point in Ginza
Outdoor deck on the 9th floor and B1 and B2 are full of hot food of all styles taste or buy.
