with a view of the park and access to all amenities at the other 2 Disney hotels , this place is a steal for a Disney vacation.
Great hotel if you still want the Disney experience and try to save money. The hotel is the cheaper one out of the three Disneyland resort hotels . It is also a short walk away from Downtown Disney.
If you have a view of the park , you can watch World of Color and get the music on a special TV station . However, you won't be able to see most of the show, so don't skip the real thing if you can!
Not as good as the Florida disney hotels but still really nice and clean and Disney-ed up!
When you come here.. Request a room above the 7th floor with a view to California Adventure. There if an amazing Water Show with lights and fire. Plus no crowds lol
Upgrading to the concierge package is worth it. Free breakfast , snacks and drinks throughout the day, wine & cheese at night, and DVD rentals for the room.
If you're headed to the far end of Downtown Disney near the Disneyland Hotel , Trader Sams , ESPN zone or Earl of Sandwich , a slightly less magical shortcut is through the parking lot .
For those 21 and over you should consider a visit to Trader Sam 's Tiki Bar in the middle Disneyland Hotel building. The souvenir mugs cost extra - order in plain glasses to save on luggage.
The park view rooms do NOT allow you to watch World of Color from your room. You're seeing it from behind, from too high, and from too far away. You can't see the projections. Not the same AT ALL!
Nice disney hotel on a budget, but if you got some money stay at the beautiful Grand California down the street
You can see world of color from your room but it's not even close to how awesome it is up close. Do both.
The pool, +. The hotel , +. The staff , +. Quick little walk to Downtown Disney and Grand California , +. The elevators , -......so slow.
All of the elevators fill up in the morning as everybody rushes out at the same time. Can be a long wait .
The walk to the Disney parks is shorter if you leave through the front and cut through the hotel across the street.
If you're staying here request a room facing DCA park . It can't hurt to ask.
Ethernet does not work well in this hotel . It will say that you are connected and never let you access anything. Tried everything.
Great hotel if you can’t stay at the Disneyland or Grand Californian
They tell you that someone will come in to yell for the departing bus so you should wait in the lobby, but it will be early and no one will say a thing. Be out front really early or risk missing it.
Get a room with a view of California Adventure so u can avoid the crowd and watch World of Color from your room!
Need 1/2 gallon jugs of milk ? OJ ? Butter and cream cheese ? Find them at White Water Snack inside Grand Cal Hotel for pretty reasonable prices.
Elevators are hopeless - waited for 10 minutes trying to get to the ground, all the while hearing them whoosh by without stopping. Had to ride it up to go down...
World of Color = Bellagio fountains meets Frozen
Guest services have no idea what they're talking about - asked two questions and they were wrong about both. Ask someone in the parks instead!
How archaic that a hotel this big doesn't have an elevator in their parking structure . Be sure to unload your luggage before parking .
Brian from the Princess Bedtime Stories works in Disneyland - see if you can find him!
If you have a room that over looks CA Adventure you have an amazing view of The World of Color show.
Nice place, but if you can spare it, upgrade and stay at Disneyland Grand. So much nicer.
stay in rm 318! beautiful view of california adventure and its on the same floor as the pool.
Try the little tiki bar trader sam 's its def worth it!
It’s Disneyland’s low-end hotel and you can tell. Everything at this property is mediocre.
Wow. Rude bellman. Don't need to hear that helping me is how you make money. I know that. Offended!
The shower heads spin during your shower automagically.
Good location but the service is very slow. Good second option hotel
Take your photo by the lobby Goofy and post it here...Let's see 'em!
Disneyland!
Check out the kids cartoon viewing room if you have little ones.
Don't bring too much luggage - they don't let you use the luggage carts.
Most affordable concierge upgrade of the three DL hotels .
Showers are for kids. Not for a 6'3 guy. At least my chest gets a straight shot of water...
This is Johnny Depp's favorite hotel here.
Go to the 15th floor and look for the Hidden Mickey on Disneyland Drive!!
If you can spare it, upgrade for the view .
There is not an elevator in there parking structure .
New dining looks beautiful!!
Sometimes there is a Cat!
It's just ok nothing that special!!!
Best customer service. Especially on a bday!
A quick little walk to Downtown Disney.
Watch the fireworks from the PPH Pool
Carry a gas mask. It smells like shit. :-\
Wonderful Disney service, delicious food, and a cozy atmosphere. Definitely an unsung Disneyland treat. - Duane Montague
Spa fills up fast so go to 10th floor to see how busy before you go down - Scott Wright
The duck breast was amazing! I got the orange creme brulee for dessert and was def NOT disappointed! No other restaurant at the disney resort compares to napa rose! - Valerie T
Construction is over and the magic is back! The pools are all open, the rooms are all new, and the cast members are, as always, spectacular. I'm so glad we decided to stay here this trip. - Kelly O'Rourke
Nice sized, clean rooms. Light-up headboards show a fireworks display in the night sky (very fun for kids and not too bright to leave on at night). Bathroom has a separate room for the toilet. - Gary Greenberg
It’s the Happiest Place on Earth and always a quality experience. The rides, food, and ongoings make for an excellent experience. I’ve been several times throughout my life when I visit Cali. - Curtis Rock
Great area with shops and restaurants. All outdoors and beautiful to walk most days. - Natalie
All the FP programs are fun! You can spend a whole day here to experience everything! Parking is expensive though. - Mavis Li
