Poinsettia Park

Good bones but suffers from some neglect. There are homeless in tents across from the park . I had an awkward conversation with a guy by the handball court who bragged about how many guys he's shot.

Great place to play ball, plenty of courts, and I never have trouble finding an open court or game to join.

The equipment around the baseball/soccer fields can actually give you a decent workout that uses your own body weight!

LA Kids Sports Academy is sponsoring free basketball clinics in the month of February during select evenings. For more information call 323-876-5014.

Don't leave your shoes out front of uour place in yhis neighborhood , they may get stolen like mines did.

The indoor gym at the Poinsettia Park Recreation Center is AIR-CONDITIONED and has several electrical outlets to charge phone. :-)

My friend had his bike stolen. If you live in this neighborhood don't leave anything outside unless your place is an apt or gated.

Refill your water bottle near the 3rd base dugout

There's no parking after 7pm anywhere around this park

Watch out for joe blow sitting in a car across the street with window down and camera . Watches for dogs off leashes and reports to cops on bikes . Heavy fine.
