There can be a long wait here, so while you wait for your table, play a game of mini golf . Come during the summer, snag a table on the deck, and chow down on some awesome oysters and crab cakes .
Perfect daytime outdoor drinking spot . Mini golf , corn hole , fake sand, and buckets of beer ($25 for 5). Solid but pricey seafood . $1 oyster happy hour all Monday and Tuesday.
Delicious oysters , stew pot and crab cakes topped by a Bloody Mary with rosemary vodka & an oyster on top. Great service and really friendly staff . Easily fill an afternoon with food, cornhole & golf
It has a spectacular view u can see Statue of Liberty facing u from the terrace . Service was excellent food is so good & fresh specially the crab rolls . My only concern was tables sanitation.
Favs: Oysters , Maryland blue crabs w/ old bay , the spicy pot (shown below). The mac & cheese was good. All the crab legs were awesome.
The food here is exceptionally delicious. We ordered king crab royal for 2. Crab legs , lobster , shrimp , fries , corn on the cob & cole slaw . Can't go wrong with this option. The food is Amazing !!
Sit on the deck, look out over the water, and grab a frozen piña colada . Imagine Jimmy Buffet is sitting next to you. Red Hook is the new Bahamas.
Great food, great drinks, great location! Crab rolls and popcorn shrimp are stellar. I highly recommend the Bloody Breuklen (a Bloody Caesar w an oyster on top!) Big backyard + free mini-golf too!
Get nice and buzzed playing corn-hole then go out back & crush some crab . I wish NYC had more crab shacks like this. It's worth noting that the "side of coleslaw " w/ the crab is embarrassingly small.
Welcome to a huge, expansive, multi-floor… basically theme park for adults and kids. Get involved in the snow crabs while playing some corn hole , air hockey , mini-golf, have at it. Yes this is real. Read more
Awesome 3 story crab shack with plenty of sunny spots to have a drink and take in the water views , indoors and out. Can't wait to come back during summer
What's not to love? This is the best Red Hook experience. Relaxed, casual , a great place to bring the kids and enjoy some drinks & games. Loved the chilled Jonah roll. No better place @ sunset .
Crab !!! And everything else. The atmosphere is really delightful. Very laid back , casual , fun, they have outdoor games, mini golf , great drinks, sand boxes! Just absolutely great!
It boasts patios at different levels, several bars featuring beer and mixed drinks , and a menu heavy on seafood . Crab claws , shrimp cocktails , and raw oysters are all specialties. Read more

Such a groovy place! Chill with friends or family friendly . Old school, casual , seafood spot. Lobster roll was banging. Mini golf and other games are icing on this cake - plus free ferry from DT!
The ambiance is amazing!!! 3 floors of open air space. Casual dining with a nice size menu selection. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating!
Don't expect big appetizers than you can share everything is well portions. The calamari is prob the best I ever had. The crab cakes were good as well but definatly order sides if u need a lol more.
Food is amazing. Go for the soft shell crab sandwich . Don't wait for a table - find a spot at the bar and eat there on a crowded weekend day.
A bit of a trek and a bit of a trendy scene, but the food is actually quite excellent. Biggest hits for the group were the Peel N' Eat Shrimp and Dungeness Crab Boil. WinstonWanders.com
After a ride on the 6, F, & their courtesy shuttle from Carroll Gdns stop, it was still a 2-hr wait...even after a friendly Samaritan gave up her spot on wait list for us.
With a miniature golf course and outdoor waterfront seating, this Red Hook bar and restaurant is a great spot to enjoy a leisurely drink on a warm and sunny afternoon.
This tri-level seafood shack in Red Hook serves up a delicious selection of shellfish dishes, but we love it for the speciality cocktails , beers on tap and impressive water views .
The service was great. Bartender with the partial dreads I cool as hell. And the food was simply to die for, more than I could bargain for. The full bar was also a hit. A must try in my book .
Love this place. Really good crab legs and steam pots. Come with a group and enjoy some drinks on the deck.
The bloody breucklen is SO DELICIOUS. Any of the crab rolls are good and we also liked the cornbread and crispy shrimp .
Awesome place. Love the decor. Food and service are great too. Perfect for a brunch followed by a walk in the neighborhood !
Great seafood and great cocktails so much fun we loved it. Red Hook is kinda like Hackney Wick, there's a ton of cool bars and restaurants around that area too.
Long wait during summer. But worth the wait. Definitely sit upstairs for open windows. Coming during the fall is nice too!
Wait for a table outside on the deck. The view is worth the wait. While you wait order apps and drinks in the back garden .
Delicious seafood , if you like shellfish (crab , lobster , etc.) And a beautiful view of the water, the sunset (if dining in the evening) and of the Statue of Liberty.
Insane view , fantastic lobster rolls and awesome oyster specials. Blue crabs are delicious but not for amateur crab aficionados. Take the ikea ferry across and enjoy every moment. Summer favorite.
Don't leave your tab open here. If you do, they'll use your credit card details to make purchases all over town . Has happened to friends and myself recently.
The crowds are a bit intense, and the staff vibe is a little Applebees-y, but the setting and the view can't be beat. Plus the food is pretty good. Also: cornhole .
Nice place, very good food but a bit expensive . We tested the crabcakes amazing but 35$ for a starter and 25$ for the crab roll with chips - is a bit expensive even the quality is here
Great place to hang out, relax and grab some raw bar . Habanero Margarita is addictive. Mussels , Peel n' Eat, and Cool Platter are satisfying. Staff is friendly and the place is wonderfully built.
Sunset , beers and seafood . What else do you need in life. The vibe is amaZing and if you need dessert you can head to Steve’s Key Lime store next door!!!
If you have a shellfish allergy eat some Lobster but bring your epi pen & stab it in your leg then say "Hey everyone! Now this place is called Brooklyn Stab!!"
Everything is great here. But I loved the muscles and shrimp ! Try to get upstairs for amazing view .
Lots of beer on tap , corn hole , delicious seafood , MINI GOLF ! What else do you need? And it's across the street from Fairway, so you can go grocery shopping after you feast.
Perfect place to go on a sunny afternoon. There's plenty of outdoor space with views of the water, games, and delicious seafood . Definitely recommend ordering the crab rolls !
Not super crowded for a sunny, warm Sunday and everyone working there was incredibly nice. I recommend the cold platter with spicy shrimp . Can take the ikea water taxi to get there easier.
Great atmosphere, decent food, but be prepared for a long wait - so get a drink from the bar downstairs and play cornhole or relax at a picnic table with your friends
Owner Rachel was nice, always a neat touch when the proprietor comes and greets guests. Good prices and GREAT seafood , some of the best peel-n-eat shrimp and lobster I've had.
Such a fun place - amazing view , plenty of group seating and some fun arcade games .
Great place to go in the summer. During the weekends you can take the Ikea ferry for free to get to Red Hook.
Red Hook by the water + Key West styled bar/resto = transport to a foreign land. Food is solid and libations plenty. Get one of their crab rolls !
Great view from the deck. Seared scallops w/ bacon & kale were great, as was mac n cheese w/ lobster . Still working some kinks out with the service. A little pricey , but good food & good times.
Fresh seafood on a rooftop overlooking the Red Hook docks. Fun to try the extensive hot sauce collection and get messy with a bucket of crab
Different menu than upstairs but fun to hang with a couple beers while watching people play mini golf - Elysia Mann
Average course, passes the time whilst waiting for a table upstairs. - Jack Etherington
Lobster, Salmon, Oysters. ALL the choices are excellent, and the staff is truly attentive to your needs. If I could give this place an 11, I would. Don’t forget the Wednesday Lobster fest. - Jeff Pelletier
Come through during happy hour for dollar oysters. They have super unique sauces that come in little dropper bottles. Beautiful interior, too. - Cole Kennedy
One of the best cocktail bars in NYC! Amazing bartenders, fantastic cocktail menu, so many delicious options! And the oysters are top notch. - Jonathan R
end your night at perhaps the best americana bar i've ever been to. all whiskey all the time, and awesome bluegrass jams on saturday nights in the back room. - jake furst
the lamb belly runs gamey, but the brisket is right up there with the best in Texas! - D C
I got the classic, a mini key lime pie dipped in chocolate. It was very good! - Ryan Novak
