Prefer the £50 sushi set to the omakase – if you’ve had omakase in Asia, never have it in London
1. Chawanmushi was cold, sent back 2. Uni handrolls had soggy seaweed 3. Ordered cold udon but got hot, sent back 4. Tempura that came w udon was left sitting until noodles came (same dipping sauce )
Dinner omakase : Westernized. Fresh but overpowered by flavors (e.g VERY salty, too much citrus zest) & rice to fish ratio is way off. Too salty, texture not right. Yet to find a decent omakase in Ldn
