The ice can be alittle rough at times, but it is a real ice, outdoor rink. It's the nature of the beast. If you come early in the day, there's no line and the ice is normally much smoother.
Careful! Ice is sometimes worse than a lake . Very big dips and ice blocks in places. Still fun, just reconsider if your too novice.
Believe it or not, ice skating and ice cream do go hand in hand! There's a Graeter's directly across from the rink!
It's only $3 to skate and $3 for skate rental... have your own skates ? Bring them, it will cut your cost in half!!
Check beforehand to make sure they don't schedule a private party. Apparently they don't update the website for that stuff.
