A great local beach to escape from all the tourists . The view of Diamond Head and Rabbit island are spectacular. Parking is limited though.
Indeed an escape from the tourist of Waikiki. Only a 45 min walk by foot. Good hike , pleasant winds.. Tranquil, peaceful and a must when visiting.
Some really nice beginner to intermediate surf spots , including "Cliffs", "Suicides" & "Tongg's"
Great surf and sunsets
I surf here every weekend since moved to town area waves are fun and mellow !

It was a really amazing experience. Loved it. Pristine!
Awesome surf ! It was awesome to see the waves .
Multiple waves and not many people with good sand
Don't leave valuables in your car!
Bring swim shoes ... very rocky
A monk seal swam with me
No full of tourists ;)
The area past the wall was a little dirtier than the other parts of the beach and had some interesting characters in the afternoon. Still a beautiful view and great place to see the sunset. - Suprachibby
Watch for the shrimp trucks & shaved ice trucks that pull in along the highway. Great spot to see whales (3 spotted in a two-hour visit today), lots of parking, and a fun beach with good sand. - Wes Skinner
Walk to towards the Diamond Head Lookout. You'll pass a small garden area along the wall that the local surfers created and maintain themselves. - Harry Covair
Beautiful photo opp. Limited parking though (maybe 6 or 7 stalls). - Misha K.
Nice park with events happening all the time. Plenty of room to accommodate tourists and locals alike. - Scott Hegyes
