Love love love this WF branch. The have all GT kombucha flavors and paleo hot food and salads clearly marked as such! There is also a small cafe near exit if you want to eat in.

Protip: Pour over at the coffee bar is only $2! Single origin , local stuff (Ritual, Blue Bottle , etc.), or you can pick anything you want from the coffee aisle. Best enjoyed with a vegan donut .

Impressive product selection for the SF/Cali newbie: pretty, appetising and fresh, though definitely not cheap . Own brand pretty competitive for staple products, however.

The best place to warm up your gastronomy if you are new to the place. You won't feel left out. And btw take the left line towards pay counters

Great produce, seafood and meats (and, strangely, macarons from the pastry station) but impossible to walk out for $50 or less.

Vegan pizza by the slice! The kale salad , cabbage crunch, and toasted cous cous are all winners, as is the sesame ginger dressing . The checkout line seems crazy long at lunch , but moves pretty fast.

Their burrito bar is great, especially with all the veggie options . Also, a great beer bottle selection. They just opened the beer bar , Steep Brew SOMA.

Rudi's is the best gluten free bread ! Have to search around the freezer section for it, though. Better than whole foods own brand, and the brick-like rice bread . Toast it, though!

The only Whole Foods in the city that cold presses their iced coffee . It's amazing.

Pretty expansive salad bar . The register at the coffee counter is often the fastest way to make it out during the lunch rush.

This WF prepares their egg dishes the best, not watery and overly rich. If you prefer a tofu scramble , this is also worth a try (for those who like their tofu in chewable sizes and not heavily salted.

The pre-made food options are actually very tasty and pretty cost-effective.

Try our Spaghetti Carbonara recipe. Buy: 16 oz Delverde Spaghetti , grated parmesan cheese , salt, ½ lb fried smoked bacon , 2 garlic cloves , dry white wine , cup cream, freshly ground black pepper .

As of June 2013 the Wi-Fi here is served through Colubris Networks and is pretty fast until 5-6 customers start using laptops and the connection crumbles to dust.

Healthy organic food here. Nothing compared to italian markets or Eataly though. Fuck the parmesan ! Wins for teasers and global image

That bulk olive oil (Jovia) is high quality local, like a McEvoy Ranch. Apparently you can fill an old glass bottle , just get it rated at Cust service when u enter Sony only pay for the oil.

Slightly upscale supermarket , plus they have hot food bar to eat in (some tables) or take out . Good food, decent prices.

When it's busy at lunch , use the coffee bar checkout instead. You'll feel smart even though 300 people already do this.

The line gets super long around 5-7pm. If you have lees than 5 items, use the counter opposite the entrance.

They have beautiful flowers here. Get some for someone special and have them wrapped by the floral designer. Well worth the wait for the fabulous result!
