My favourite Market in Melbourne, from fruits and veggie veggies , The Butchers are the best in town !! I recommend!!

Susan

Fabulous fresh veg and wonderful array of seafood and meat. The delis are amazing.

Rahul

Get the $15 fruits ???? & veggies ???? box which you can fill with whatever your like. Some items like avocado ????, etc have a limit on how many you can buy. It’s a great bargain & the produce is excellent.

D

The board of the market is stacked with former dairy industry execs. They refuse to serve non-dairy milk at market lane coffee and have even stood up a cheese toastie shop in the vegetable area.

Susan

Pinos fruit supply for caring individual attention. Very knowledgeable staff . Never been sold anything bad here ever. Highly recommend

Joe Wu

Niche and nice market . Some things are overpriced. Its a good place to browse around and find some things not available elsewhere. A lot of gourmet stuff to be bought here if you look close enough.

Alison Lloyd

Tuesdays are great for visiting with kids - farmyard animals, face painting , sing-a-longs, great playground . And a pour-over at Market Lane with today's Epicure to leave you feeling like a grown-up.

Josh Chaffey

Wow. All you folks talking up The Falafel Man weren't kidding! Seriously the best falafel I've ever had!

Erin Jameson

At last - a fantastic salad , soup and juice bar . Look no further than Kook's Kitchen! Life is complete at Prahran Market.

Troy Boulton

Beautiful array of gourmet delights and produce at reasonable prices. A Melbourne institution.

Eline Vandeputte

There's nothing you won't find here to prepare an amazing meal!!! Love the Melbourne markets :)

Grab sashimi from the seafood stall and get them to cut them up for you. Fresh and succulent.

Esti Nurjadin

Just perfect place for foodie lover. The pour over coffee at market lane cafe is a must try.

Just Brima

Many good local seasonal veggies and fruit seller... many food stall and deli , too...

citizenziggy esq.

it's no St Lawrence market but still wide variety of local produce .

Jackie Mackie

It's a great place but the renovations going in at the moment make it unsuitable for kids to play (for now)

Tim Cowell

The Bomb! Have to get this dip every time we go here! Great fresh market !

Sandy Riley

Try Mussel Pot in the courtyard for delicious mussels - fantastic and fresh

Rebecca Howse

You have to visit the Essential Ingredient , probably the best kitchen shop I've come across in my travels.

Erin Jameson

Egg & bacon toasters at Egnaro in the food court - delicious, and only $5!

Kyle G

Check the calendar it's closed some days

D.A. Arneson

Nice size market . Not as big as Queen Victoria but a person can actually move and it is much cleaner.

Jane Garner

Bean green vegetarian cafe is excellent. Try the chickpea patties with salad and dip .

Chris Bride

Head to the nearby Cato grocery store for cheaper fruit and veg . It's next to Coles.

Andrea McIntyre

Go to Gary's Meats for premium, high quality meats. Cape Grim, Robbins Island Wagyu etc

Sascha Wenninger

The best spot for great fruit & veg , and make sure to check out Essential Ingredient too - it's a foodie's paradise!

everguide

Try the amazing felafels from the felafel stand in the courtyard . They're the best felafels in Melbourne.

Simon Renn

Good range of fresh food beats the supermarkets for sure

Anna Pearce

Keep purchases from the Farm gate organic grocery to a minimum as they cost a mint !

Jackie Mackie

Lovely staff , nice coffee and not overpriced like many cafes around this area

Gail Jones

Nice market but meat, fish , fruit and veg is significantly more expensive than Queen Victoria market

Andrea McKenna

The market is closed on Mondays and Wednesdays...as I found out coming today (Wednesday) but Essential Ingredient is still open! Yay

Susan

Head for Pinos for personalized service and the freshest produce. Cleo's deli . Yum

Joanna

Shop for locally grown , organic produce and dairy at Paddlewheel!

Tracy Ma

Everything fresh just luv it

Sandy A.

Loved the tastes!

Hery Hope

Live music in the square every sunday 12-3pm

Erin Jameson

The Falafel Man and The Mussel Pot liven up an otherwise very dull and uninspiring food court .

Praveen Vijayan

More expensive than Victoria Market but cleaner and more organised, with better quality meat and produce.

Najube

I love it here. Fresh anchovies !
