Fun place for lunch . So many stands to choose from. One area is mainly Mung Bean Pancakes and another are all dumplings stalls. We had a yummy fulfilling lunch for ₩10,000.
Had great mandu. All the stall food looked great, I bet you couldn't go wrong. You could get lost looking at hanbok and cloth and souvenirs for hours in the twisty alleys! My favorite market so far!
Rubbed shoulders with locals and tourists alike to try the various snacks and food offerings available here. During winter, thoughtful bench heating warms your bottom while you munch away. Nice!
Great market with local food that's open late . Look around for some exotic seafood - we had live baby octopus and raw beef ; there are also excellent mungbean pancakes with kimchi
Always the perfect place to search for street food like tteokpokki, live octopus , seafood , gimbap, mungbean pancake , and many more. Best to explore on empty stomach during lunch time
The best street food is here, bring cash! There are also so many shops around the main food “streets” with clothes , fabrics and traditional Korean dresses that it’s easy to get lost.
Lots of Traditional and authentic . Most of stalls serve pretty good korean food . Get the kim bap(rice rolls with pickled vege ) and the sweet potato noodles and spicy Korean rice cake.Great for foodies
I stayed just 1 min away from this market so every day I was coming here to try new foods. There is so much to choose from and prices also great, everything is clean and must place to come!!
Had some of the best local fares here: don't miss out mung bean pancake , kimbab (rice rolls ), boribap (bibimbap but with barley), mandu (dumpling ) and raw octopus !
One of the best markets I’ve been to! The food we had (mainly from the stalls featured on Netflix, because why not, it was a Monday so not too busy) was all excellent.
[박가네 육회] ddukbokki : average. Nothing special. Bean pancake : YES. I loved it. Delicious. You could actually see the chef frying pancakes in front of the door. Beef sashimi : MUST TRY. The best.
Mung bean pancakes are the main jam there. But you really can't go wrong with any of food stall options. Just pick one that fits your explorative mood
Fun and lively place to visit. Some food stalls were open after 11 pm. Go for the bean pancakes with a bottle of makgeolli . Prices are very reasonable.
Come sample some traditional Korean street food . Take your time to find the right stall for you.
You MUST come here. It's quite the experience. The food is absolutely delicious as well . Things to try out: mungbean pancakes , kimbap , oden , dumplings , chicken feet (dak bal).
This is mostly a food market with an array of dishes and ingredients to try. The bindaedak 비대딱 (?) - is good. Mung bean fritter . Usually very busy but quieter week day evenings.
A must-visit if you want authentic Korean street food . Look for the vendors with long lines or add indicating they've been featured on Korean TV . We enjoyed some Korean pancakes :).
In the evening most of the shops close up and the food stalls are packed with locals. You'll find some great and weird cuisine here, served by the friendly older generation of Korean women.
A street food paradise place to be. Do try out Stall 11 & 54 for their Bibimbap & Drug Octopus . You can also buy back Honey Almond Peanuts from most of the shops there. -Penang Kia Food Critique-
This is what an actual market looks like! Food that you cannot see anywhere else but Korea. Mung Bean Pancake with Korean Rice Wine and Raw Beef with Soju , these are the flavors of Korea.
Most frenetic night market ...ever! You can't miss the Bindaetteok , huge skillet fried mung bean pancakes for 10,000 won. This is a one stop shop for a lot of typical Korean street food .
Crazy hectic and crowded , but a good place to have a cheap , quick meal ! Try some "drug kimbab" (마약김밤) and some makgeolli . Food stands stay open until about 11PM.
Mung bean cakes was quite good. The dumplings too. Seafood stalls are available here too. You can try out octopus sashimi here at about 15k won.
Lots of good food options at Gwangjang Sijang. However, since everyone is making the same items, need to do some research to find the original or really good food stall .
Bit crowded , but if you enjoy Korean street food this place is a must visit. Can also get some exotic Korean food around this area(dog soup , live squid )
The night market is a sight to behold. A great place to sample Korean street food , including bindaetteok . You'll need to be willing to elbow your way in!
Other than the food, explore the shops for good quality made-in-Korea sports wear.
Don't miss joining the locals for some chives and zucchini pancakes with some soju (Korean rice wine ).
Great food market . Lots of mung bean pancakes , freshly-pulled noodles , and more!
Go and just wander. Such a cool place to see what all you can buy. Also, tourist souvenirs are the cheapest I've found in Seoul.
Netflix Korea street foods series, yangnyeom gejang, spicy marinated crab recommended
Awesome place to get a small snack . A unique experience and one of the coolest markets in Seoul
This place isn't exactly tourist friendly . Especially when it comes to the street stalls. You will have to know what you want to eat. E.g Soondae / Binddaedeok and their Jeon! (:
An typical street market . Try the many food stalls that line the alleys. Famous for Korean style pancake and rice wine
Yum yum!! It's pricy since they became popular to tourists but worthy to try at once.
Only the BIBIMBAP was amazing, all the else was quite touristy and pricy ...
A must see, open air food museum , hard for vegetarians only option is fish for Europeans.
Mindblowing streetfood. Note to self: bindaetteok (빈대떡) at 광장시장 and yukhoe (유허) at 창신육회.
Many food can be found their. Try the bimbimbap with barley.. simple and nice

Easily the best place to experience Korean food in all it's variety.
Great streetfood. Pancakes , dumplings , octopus ...
Really good spot for a quick, tasty bite. Lots and lots of food options.
Great spot to stop for breaky . Went for a wonderful morning run through the market - great people watching !
Eat everything. You can find dog here. If you speak Chinese, a lot of the ajummas seem to speak a little bit.
Pajong with the BIG chunks of pork or seafood . Don't settle for less!
