Chicken tacos and burger were dry. Animal tater tots and jalepino Mac n cheese amazing. Decent interesting beer selection . Bottom line : come for drinks and apps, have dinner elsewhere.

Excellent Caesar salad ! I had the steak with the Brussels and potatoes . Top notch food!

I enjoyed the pulled chicken tacos but the pepper on top of them was too hot (and I like hot stuff). The Mac of the day was beef tenderloin and it was very good.

Food is delicious there , but it's pricey and not worth it. But, drinks there are really good, especially Sex in the city ! Amazing!!

Tavern in the name is misleading. More of a gastropub . Decent craft beer list . Great appetizers . Great for large groups.

The Lamb French dip is amazing. Carmalized onions are incredible and the lamb itself is moist & delicious. Must try.

The food is great including the wings and tacos . Ask for Abner , he is the best and will steer you in the right direction.

Chicken and waffles are so delicious, pass on the cheddar biscuits . $2 mimosa well worth it!

Had the smoked wings , parmesan truffle tater tots , and fried Brussels sprouts . I hate bar food but this was not the best at all. Loved the beer Moody tongue .

The food is good. Great selection of craft beers . It is a bit on the expensive side, though.

Nothing particularly good food wise. Burger was good, but not great. Great place to watch a game and to grab a few brews. Great beer selection is what makes this place.

The footlong grilled cheese and Parmesan truffle tater tots are delish!

Stay away from the pineapple upside down cake martini ... My fault for ordering it hahah! The rib Mac n cheese was great though!

The Brisket Hoagie is lacking in flavor, which is counterintuitive from the menu description. The meat wasn't smoky enough, and some chunks were gristly. Order a burger instead.

A good selection of craft beers on tap . Food and service was average. I thought the place needed a good cleaning . Won't be going back anytime soon.

Outside, the tables are a bit too low for the chairs. If you have hips, they're quite uncomfortable. Staff is not trained-can't fully explain specials or menu. Happy hour promoted, not available.

Apparently there's a Chicago law that states any beer over an abv of something, like, 6% is to be served in a smaller glass. Mine was served in a snifter meant for cognac . #fail

Service was miserable. The food took an hour to get out and when it was the food was cold. Staff was very uncaring and unfortunately didn’t really want to make the situation right.

Food and service were not great. Drinks were made incorrectly, and couldn't get condiments or refills on water.
