Love the springy noodles that goes well with the chilli , & also the char siew which uncle marinates himself. My $4 portion is huge, came with lots of noodles !
Wanton mee is not bad. The wanton is flavorful and juicy. Char siew is dry but well seasoned. Noodle and chilli combo is quite Shiok
Uncle marinate his own char siew , however he is not using the big traditional charcoal oven. He adopted modern small electric oven
The wanton mee had a nice tasting oil coating the noodles . The wantons were decent & the Char Siew was above average, with a nice char (though it wasn't that tender). Even the soup was very tasty
Locals seems to like the chicken feet + Char siew combo. This is serious competition to the one two stalls away which used to be long queue.
Much better eating the WTM freshly cooked, instead of takeaway . Noodles were ‘q’ (chewy). Wantans were substantial (rather than disintegrated) ????????
Unimpressed with the WTM here. Maybe packing them home changed flavours. Wantans were not well made, although char siew (BBQ pork ) was well cooked
Besides WTM, regulars are seen tucking into their chicken feet noodles too! - Cheen The Curious
Decent laksa. Self-service to all the laksa leaves u want ???? - Cheen The Curious
Average-tasting chicken rice - Cheen The Curious
Take the signature laksa soup. No need to add anything, it has it all. Not too spicy, not too thick, not too big portion. Just perfect! - savas
Looks messy but a definite must try if you like prawn noodles. Pig liver slices perfectly cooked, fresh and firm prawns. Concentrated prawn stock. Awesome! - L
