This is the original statue , commissioned in 1880, lost at sea, and recovered. Other KK statues in Hilo, Honolulu, Maui, and DC. The Honolulu statue was made to replace this one before it was found.
No parking at Statue . Either park behind the building or across the street at shops.
Interesting history on the only King the islands had.
