Located very close to this arch is also a giant stone structure of a horse's head tipped down as if it's drinking water. Take the time to read the plaque that is posted near the arch.
Nice square to have a take away coffee on the bench while caching some sun and watch the cars/busses/ people pass by! Lot of pigeons too!

Sculpted from Italian marble and based on the Arch of Constantine in Rome, this was built in 1827 as the entrance to Buckingham Palace . It was moved here in 1851 when the palace was enlarged.

Marble Arch was originally built as the entrance to Buckingham Palace , but was never used. There is actually a tiny office inside it, which was used as a police station .
Good place to relax and drink your daily coffee and let my kid play with the pigeons 😋
