Great place for Indian tapas like dishes for sharing with a group. Have been twice now and both times was really tasty food. Second time had my own dish which was awesome and beautiful!
This place is really popular & gets quite filled up at lunch . Their mix of Indian / Chinese fusion dishes is quite good, but it aspires to be Dishoom ; and I think it is a long way off that.
The Masala Chai is very authentic and well recommended. The Toddy Shop is a nice informal setting whereas their more formal Dining Room hasn't actually opened yet (expected to open later this week).
One of the best Indian restaurants I've been to. Everything we ordered was a 10/10! Chicken tikka naan , dahi puri , and butter chicken .
We loved our sicilian waiter ! He was helpful and fun too! The meals we had were fabulous and we enjoyed their Chai Ki Pilsner beer too. Highly recommended.
My new favourite authentic Indian breakfast spots . Go for the aloo tikki brioche bun with fried egg you won't be disappointed!
Masala Chai is a must try, but if we are talking food then Chilli Chicken is what one should go for - this is an Indo Chinese fusion and a must try
The dish with the prawns is fantastic and the malai cheesecake is to die for!! Very atmospheric place and good service as well .
Nice atmosphere, nice twisted cocktails , will try the food next time! Too late for dinner ! And next to the river ????
Nice atmosphere and polite service . I wouldn't characterise the food as traditional (although i don't have much experience with indua cuisine ) but it was very tasty ☺
The food and service is wonderful. Got a lot of small dishes to share between 4 of us and was all wonderful. The calamari was outstanding.
Amazing place I’ve been there a few times and every time I go I love the food more and more such delicious flavours and great drinks
Masala Chai is about the only good thing, along with the decor. Definitely aspires to to be a Dishoom without getting the balance of portion size right. Very overpriced for meh food that looks good.
Surprisingly yum! Basmati rice was fluffy to perfection, as was the naan bread .
The food and the chai are pretty good. Unfortunately, even though they have huge space , they push you to sit at a crammed space, really close to one another. -_-
Everything is good ???? remember to get the pistachio ice cream for dessert !
Tried it multiple times. Chai is good, burnt chilli chicken is good. Pretty much nothing else is, bread has a ready to eat feel. Staff forget things although quick to add to the tab. Manager cocky.
Street food all day menu is good especially their Hakka chilli paneer and Papri chaat . Service is nice. Breakfast is ok...chai needs more flavour.
Order lots of bar plates and share a yummy feast! The calamari and ribs are amazing!
Butter chicken and ambiance was very nice. Not too crowded yet, will definitely come back!
Anything is good in here! You must try the chicken naan and the pulled pork :)
Try the pulled pork paratha starter and the lamb porridge . Trust me it sounds weird but it's a mouthgasm
Pretty good modern indian , but don’t get tandoori chicken - it’s like a soggy soft bread pizza
Tasty Indian food in a modern setting
The korma is quite good with the parantha and loved the Malai cheesecake
Wonderful brunch with an Indian and Himalayan twist
Good - great dishes for vegetarians - lots of spicy food
Great for breakfast ! Calamari are amazing as well !
Authentic Indian with good portions
Bhel PURI and korma with parrota are excellent choices. Good service .
Everything we ordered between 5 of us was all good.
Great food. Seems like the chef has a very unique style .
Best Indian in the area very good food and great staff
The sweet potato burger with masala fries . Yum!
Would literally recommend everything
Dont miss the iced masala chi يبجي
very tasty & sinuse opening spicy foods here :)
Tasty. Pigeon, rice , naans , all
Yummy food! Great value for money .
Delicious modern Indian food
Ask how spicy the dishes are before you commit
The paneer starter is terrific
Unattentive waiter not taking orders, no replies to questions, drinks went MIA. Just rude AF. Butter chicken and pear chicken best dishes, quail and paneer were bland. Not worth the money/effort..
Paratha is good. Everything else was average.
Best indian halal food
Chai is good, food was too spicy for me
Good size portions
Very good food here
Coffes to take away !
Over rated and below average food
Amazing! Boozy brunch is mega! So much food, cool location and friendly staff. Will visit again soon! - Jen Calvey
Crossrail Place isn't completely built yet, but the garden is already open. It's quite lovely and relaxing. I love to come here. - Thomas Pajor
Tasty trendy Indian food, lots more space than the Shoreditch branch. Get sharing plates so you can try many flavours - venison donuts, lamb chops, aloo chat, cardamom pancakes... good coffee too - Daren Williams
Probably the best restaurant in the Wood Wharf area, or even in Canary Wharf. Breakfast is absolutely great as well. - Alex Palcuie
Amazing food with reasonable prices. Try dry cured meat, it's delicious! - Janar Merilo
Love this cinema. Great service and lovely roomy seats! Quality! - Michael De Torres
Great sofas and wine menu! My new favourite cinema in east London. - Alison Roche
Have a fantastic cheese variety, for a market. And it's spacious and accessible. - Leiliane Valadares
