Completely renovated.. great oysters and food... Saturday nights have a great turnout with a hop/rnb dj . Can't be compared with the old elmdale. Excellent service , great for the hip or the trendy

Excellent service w/ unique events like black & bluegrass fest. ❤️ Whalesbone food but resent that they gutted and replaced the heritage space that was the $-accessible music venue , Elmdale Tavern .

Had one of the best meals of my life here recently... Maritime Oysters , Salted fish fritters , and Lobster Waldorf. Lucky for me they had Beyond the Pales' Pink Fuzz on tap .. wow

New owners ( Whalesbone ) did a fabulous job of lovingly renovating the classic old Elmdale Tavern . Best place for seafood in Hintonburg and lovely long U-shaped bar

It's a dive bar . Paid $8 for a pint and the place was mostly empty on a Friday night.
