I had the Rachers breakfast , lots of food! Got the best of both worlds with French toast and eggs with sausage . Was able to participate in the breakfast bar that had homemade whipped cream !!
Get the bananas foster French toast !!! Omg! Also, this place is great for bodybuilders and health freaks. Egg whites were delicious, steel cut oats were great!
The pro move is the Rancher’s breakfast . They let you do a split of pancakes and French toast too, so you can literally get everything you want.
Honestly, this is one of the best places I've ever eaten breakfast/brunch. Absolutely incredible. My favorite brekky spot in Seattle for sure.
Lovers of fish , you gotta try this weekend's special - the miso braised mackerel Benedict. So so good! I came in for Swedish pancakes and ended up ordering both, only to have room just for the eggs .
The Migas - just phenomenal. Also, they take reservations (even during brunch ). You may still have to wait a little bit for your table, but it’s better than a 2 hour wait!
I had the farmhouse breakfast and wife had Dungeness crab Benedict . Both were excellent. Very good service .
Get there early on the weekend mornings or you'll be in for a long wait . But the wait is worth it. Ordered pancakes with organic berries from the "berry bar ". The food far exceeded my expectations!
Big, healthy but most importantly good breakfast/brunch served. This venue is large but there is usually a wait on a Saturday morning. Smoked salmon egg benedict is a must try
Amazing smoked salmon + eggs + veggies hash on the brunch menu . Make sure to make a reservation before going!
That toppings bar for the French toast and pancakes ... epic. Beware if you are counting calories or carbs
Don't skip a trip to the toppings bar . It's essential. Also, no matter how long the line-up, (and if you go on a weekend, there's going to be one), it's worth it. Best breakfast on the west coast.
Got sat quickly even during Friday lunch , my kudos to the very busy host although a little abrupt when I did come in and ask about if there was a wait time. My warm ensalada Madrid salad was FABULOUS.
The pancakes are so good, you could eat them without anything else, but they have a pretty neat toppings bar with fresh fruit and syrup .
Yumm. Order some pancakes or French toast and head to the fresh toppings bar with berries and cream. You won't regret it;)
You will not be disappointed with the Oatmeal Crusted French Toast . You can add local berries , whipped cream , brown sugar , etc. at the toppings bar .
All the dishes look pretty amazing! Benedict’s, French toast ! YUMMY! Place is pretty busy !!
The berry bar that comes with breakfast sweet dishes is amazing. Well worth ordering pancakes or waffles just for the toppings!
Consistently good food whether a salad or breakfast items with a not to be missed fruit bar to add to your breakfast plate
Eggs Benedict with Salmon were excellent!
Great place for groups. Has something for everyone. French toast and pancakes are the staples but the hash is great too
Try the Vegan Banana Pancakes - Amazing...beyond words. (Rice flour , hemp milk , and pureed bananas ) Plus a free trip to the bountiful berry bar with all the fresh fixins!
The Dungeness Crab Cake Eggs Benedict is a rich and filling way to start the day
Carrot cake French toast and just about anything on the menu. Just delicious if a tad expensive . $83 with tip for 4 people
Portage Bay Cafe is a great place to meet friends for breakfast in a large open space curtained with glass windows . Go early by 9AM; on weekends it fills up fast. Friendly service , menu execution ok. Read more
Try the Farmers Breakfast - All natural, gluten free , berry bar , chicken sausage , vegan banana pancakes , thick bacon , hearty potatoes , farm to table
Pretty pricey but food is delicious and lots of brunch booze to choose from. Cool patio outside.
Great spot for breakfast . My scramble was good but the potatoes were unevenly cooked and unpleasant to eat. The toast is amazing
Toppings bar is a must! Most unique French Toast I have ever had! Oven baked with rhubarb
Amazing omelettes , or some pancakes to take advantage of the epic toppings bar ? Life is hard. Great brunch and organic hippy approved. Call ahead.
Best Migas ever...as for the delicious Buckwheat pancakes , better to come when it's the summer when there are fresh berries out rather than frozen, YUCK!
Lots to like about this place. Huge servings, breakfast bar . Make reservations on weekend, for real.
Good egg Benedict with smoked salmon . The pouched egg was done just right
Ask for the lingonberry butter and be sure to get the whipped cream . The Fancy grilled cheese changed my life forever!!
Make sure you check their daily specials menu: it features fresh, local, seasonal meat & produce!
It is absolutely necessary to make a reservation . And even with that, come a bit early because you will probably still need to wait.
Fine, I'll say it, the breakfast bar is overrated. The fresh berries and whipped cream are nice, but the pears and peaches are canned. Their savory stuff is a lot more satisfying.
Best gluten free French toast ever. And toppings bar is amazing. Worth the wait!!
Plan on waiting at least 30 mins for a table, but know it's worth the wait. If it's your first time, order something that will let you make a trip to the topping-bar
bring ping pong paddles, put your name on the list, walk to get coffee at vivace down the st., come back play ping pong across the st while waiting. great hangover fun
Loud , but great food. Save the berry bar for summer when the berries are fresh
Make a reservation on the weekend. Wait can be long. Food is tasty, not spectacular but it's Local if that's your preference.
French toast , pancakes and potatoes are amazing. Get the Rancher's breakfast .
Brunch reservations do not mean you’ll be seated immediately; expect a wait.
Huge portions , great food. Get something that includes the breakfast bar , you won't regret it.
Great eggs and amazing pancakes ????
Make a reservation . Always a wait on weekends.
Amigos, try the Migas . Oh and by pass the 2 hour wait by sitting at the bar . Be prepared for evil glares from those that don't know the ropes.
This is a great breakfast spot ! Tends to be a bit noisy but the food is great!
The miga is a great Mexican flavored breakfast ! Portions are huge!
Tasty little spot! Mediterranean American Fusion. Kevin is the best bartender ever! - Niles Emerick
Try the Ham Eggs Benedict With Hash Browns - Good stuff, worth the wait. - Alex T
Eclectic mix of locals and tourists. Great eats (try Matt's across the street from the neon sign and clock) and a fun place to putz around - Elliot Wehner
We needed to get fitter for backpacks for our first backpacking trip. The gentleman who helped us Martin was great. He provided lots of great information, all of which got used on our trip. - Garrio Harrison
Great views. Make sure you get your tix in advance. Make your reservations for the cafe days in advance. Sunset is the best time to visit. Beautiful spot! - Alexa Jane Brooks
