With a stylish neighborhood restaurant vibe, Oak at Fourteenth features local and seasonal dishes , many cooked in the wood-fired oven that shines in the dining room.

The kale salad , dressed with lemon and olive oil , may be simple but it is beyond amazing. The candied almonds and apple slices enhance the salad all the way to the Best Kale Salad of 2013.

Cabbage salad is good. The roast chicken is elbow off the top rope amazing! I ussually order steak , duck or lamb when I go somewhere nice, but you absolutely cannot pass up this chicken .

The pork belly is unlike any I've ever had. It's lean, marinated, and crisped on the outside like a steak . Incredibly delicious - it's like bacon , but a steak .

Attentive service. Sit at the open kitchen bar , awesome energy from the chefs . Burger was excellent.

Dealer’s choice cocktail is awesome, the bartenders are great. Had the most delicious coconut doughnut with a pineapple glaze.

You MUST come for a late night pretzel !!! Thurs-Sat @ 10:45pm on the dot. They only pass out 12 so be at the bar then. TOTALLY worth it!

The jalapeño cheddar BLT was every bit of good as they described it to me. Homemade chips were a good consistency too!

Get anything they make with pork belly . They know how to cook it. Also the bone marrow .
