Not a great coffee/pastry shop but the best charlestown has to offer (beats dd and sorelle) - no where near Biscuit (Inman square-ish) caliber. Also, beware the children and oblivious parents.

Great independent coffee shop with a case of pastries , sweets and some savory items. Seating for more than a dozen.

Good coffee and wide selection of sandwiches . No outlets here so if you need to power up a device hit up a different coffee shop !

Their coffee is amazing! Nice and strong. Also--their bacon , egg , and cheese on an English muffin is to die for!

Bring your lawyers and a translator. You'll trip over a kid and have to square off with a foreign au pair. Don't expect management to step in for you; they're blithe even while taking your order.

There's no seating. I'd rather two dozen cafe chairs and a few cafe tables than 8 overstuffed chairs and two useless ottomans.

Try the giant sized chocolate chip cookies . They are incredible with a softer batter consistency inside.

Ask them to bring back the Green Tea latte . On ice with soy = refreshing, caffeinated, with protein and plenty of anti-oxidents.

Breakfast : Coffee is excellent. Breakfast sandwich on their home-made english muffins is a must buy.

The service is ridiculously slow and inconsistent, but the veggie & hummus wrap is pretty good. It's definitely the best quick bite/coffee option on Main Street in Charlestown.
