One of the best Equinox locations in the city . Rarely crowded , nice bi-level facilities and great classes . Juice bar is solid too!
Come here for the spin and Shockwave classes . Yoga classes are great here too - especially because the studio overlooks the Highline.
Both the lower and upper rooms don't have a lot of classes in the mornings. For instance on Fridays at 10am the upper room is a great place to practice yoga or martial arts on your own in the sunlight
If want a trainer that will motivate you to be better AND give you amazing results-workout with Melissa Tarrab-she's been my trainer since 2009!
It’s one of their smaller locations so classes , especially in the morning, are almost always fully booked and on a waitlist. Recommend setting reminders when classes become available so you can get in
Only two squat racks and bench press racks. Awesome perks and amenities , but not a super ideal place to do serious athletic training (but neither are most city gyms ). You can deadlift here too.
Good selection of heavy duty equipment for workouts.
Has a lot, but not ALL, of the equipment found at larger Equinoxes. The workout floor is also entirely underground, though at least the ceiling is partially open to the upper floors.
Excellent gym in an excellent location. Healthy food in the lobby for post workout
After eating right and getting in a solid workout, be sure that you optimize results by getting a good night's rest! Simply, the importance of sleep cannot be overstated!
The spinning classes are awesome. Great big windows to look out at the city when on the bike
Super well maintained and very nice staff . Definitely worth the price.
Glorious amenities in a beautiful open floor plan . For $163/month, its worth it f youre a fitness buff.
Relatively empty on weekday mornings. Great juice bar inside too.
The views , the people, New York!
They have three squat racks now!
This place is intolerably crowded on Mondays & Tuesdays.
Head up to the top floor for a sneaky view of the highline and a quiet seating area
Healthy body = healthy mind. Close enough to the office for a midday workout.
make sure to look under the red sticker in the locker room , it opens a gateway to the undead city
Love the yoga room overlooking the High line .
Needs more squat racks, but the other amenities are awesome
If you don't want to hike to Chelsea Piers , this is your best bet for a gym in the hood.
Friday 6.30pm and sunday 5.30pm yoga classes r my fav! Its so much fun and relaxing w great teachers and crowd!
Try some yoga for some peace of mind - become one with yourself!
Grab a eucalyptus towel even if you aren't exiting a spin class . I won't tell ......
Nice lounge area on the top floor High Line level to people watch while they stare back at you.
A dirty location and not many classes offered. Oddly laid out
Cardio machines not well maintained. Hyper aggressive staff . There are many better managed equinoxes in NYC.
Overpriced.. Too bad I'm tied in for a year. Still, the amenities can't be beat
Fix your WiFi and TVs . Welcome to 2003!
Shockwave w/ Jon cianca is amazing. Best format/workout.
Yoga looking out over the Highline.
Run on the back wall treadmills so you can look at tight buns as you run
love starting my weekdays here. (and may be addicted to the eucalyptus towels )
Friends don't let friends skip leg day!
Grab a cold eucalyptus towel from the fridge near the treadmills and use it to cool off after your workout.
Sunday morning yoga is amazing!
Damien's Abs class is amazing!
The worst equinox in New York. Always crowded , always a few broken machines, frenquent emails and putches from staff trying to upsell you on random services.
Holler at Sebastian. Best personal trainer at the noxx
Juice bar is better at the 7th street location
The trainers who walk around are super friendly and helpful!
Check out Nadia Zaki's yoga class . It's amazing
Take Kristen Kenney's spin class . She's the best. It makes for a great start to the weekend.
Always steam after your workout.
Super loud and there was no hot water in the showers . Why is this the most expensive gym in the neighborhood ?
Good smoothie bar
The people at elixir are super slow so order first then go shower .
The yoga studio overlooks the High Line . The view makes it worth all the pain and embarrassment.
Limited selection (e.g. no Detox due to no avocados). No LevelUp yet either. - Foxxy B
Great gym. Lots of space and good range of equipment. Juice bar is also a must have. - Jason Quarisa
Tons of equipment and multiple floors with lots of space make this a good EQX location. Doesn't feel quite like my home EQX, but perfect for FIDI. - Nate Beatty
Best Equinox on Saturday's. Almost always pretty empty. It's like having my own gym. - Frantz
Love this place. Don't forget to try amazing tacos al Tacos la no. 1 - Liliana Benitez
