One of the most beautiful places I have ever been. I love how shaded and how many trees the park has. The views are breathtaking with bluffs, beaches below, and the ocean.
It's at the lighthouse that Jack Nicholson discovers what happened to the water in Chinatown. Nearby is Angels Gate Park , the setting of a scene in Crash when Matt Dillon rescues Thandie Newton.

This place is greatest in the summer time. Free Shakespeare plays, Music by the Sea festivals , and the Taste of San Pedro event . All are worth checking out.
Bring your own grill, canopy, and camping chairs. Most of all, take lots of pics! Nice scenery here!

The Palos Verdes Marathon and Half Marathon are run here every May. Hilly but beautiful! If you are a runner you must do this race!
